I'm finding HUGE discrepancies between women who grew up (or at least have memories of partly growing up) in the Soviet era vs those who grew up under "capitalism" / European Union era.

Soviet era women: More submissive, more feminine, more appreciative of a good man, more "desperate" to hang onto a man, better sex in general. Women of this era are of course, older now, but I dated them when they were younger (in their early 20s) and currently (in their late 20s / early 30s).

European Union era women: More independent, more attitude, greater mimicking of Western behaviors (flicking off the camera on their Facebook photos, getting tattoos, etc), greater adoption of "girl power" cliches and attitudes.

I would expect nothing different. Younger girls have Western ideas. Older ones do not. Back in 2002 when I was an expat I saw the WRITING on the wall of things to come. The girls under 21 were also being educated in their universities to appreciate their own local guys. Girls actually told me they believed that they should not date foreigners. However 5 years before that every girl in school was being told they should get the fuck out and foreign guys are better. I wonder if the gov't cracked down on the teachers.
I was lucky enough to grab a submissive one. My wife jumps when I say jump, Wears clothing I find sexy ,etc.I think the local guys still have girls on a tight leash.
The problem is all the beta male wife chasers who came to FSU catering to all the chicks wishes. These guys actually wanted to make girls that behave like American bitches. I remember all the hookers attending SOCIALS because they knew any guy they met would take them to Arizona's to eat. Americans thought it was cheap, but the idea that foreign guys will spend outrageous money came to exist. This has all lead to the money extracting powers of FSU girls.
If you guys really want to hear beta males in action, go read the russianwomen.com marriage forums or that Winston's Happierabroad.com forum.Its like beta central. Speak of not being able to get laid in a whore house.

I think the city/country I think you're reffering to, Temujin, is probably especially hit by that phenomenon due to the historic proximity to the very feministic cultures in Scandinavia, no?

Besides that, I haven't been in the game long enough to experience those soviet era specimens you're talking about
