RioNomad, I find your question somehat weird as judgements based on looks are to a degree very subjective. I've seen some Victoria's Secrets models - supposedly the crème de la crème of beauty - that simply don't excite me at all. On the other hand, I've seen some mega-hotties in everyday situation I would never dare to approach or "game". Do I pedastelize a woman because I've laid her? Did I pedastelize her first and got her laid - so I've found immense satisfaction and validation in this? I have worked with quite of few of these "model types" that you are talking about as a photographer. You would be surprised just how normal they look without all of the makeup and Photoshop. The 9s and 10s you are speaking of from the magazines exist only in the magazines because we create them within Photoshop. Personally, for me, a 9/10 is more than just looks, it's a combination of looks, personality, and character. And, as MunichSux said, all of these things are relative. I personally, do not find a lot of model types that attractive. As they say, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

I agree with the above. It's all relative and I believe depends also on where you live. Growing up in the US, model types or the 9s and 10s in my area were extremely rare. They were seen more as some angelic creature or rarity like a unicorn. Then I moved to LA, and there the level of beautiful women increased, but still I couldn't get with what most would consider a 9 or 10. Still, the 7 and 8s were much hotter than what I had originally thought was their equivalent in the previous areas that I had been in.

Then of course I moved to Brazil and what I thought was a 7 or 8 in LA became the equivalent of a 6 over here. Plus, given the demographics here, there are a lot more of these 7 and 8s as well!

I've never pulled a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, but I now I am able to get women that a few years ago I would have rated an 8 back home due to several factors (the allure for many of being a foreigner, having a decent job in a country where this is becoming harder and harder each day, speaking Portuguese, plus the favorable demographics), not just game.

As was mentioned before in this and many other posts, the level of status that she holds you in also counts. In LA I had low status with many of the really beautiful women...i.e. I wasn't a director or producer or really anyone with decent connections. Here, just the neighborhood I live in gives me status as well as the type of work I do.

As I said, I'm not pulling any top models, but compared to the ones I used to settle for back home, they might as just well be. It's all relative.

This is not about putting women on a pedestal. It is about how we value anything. Why is a diamond valuable? The value of anything, in our world, is directly related to its rarity. At the heart of this argument is whether or not you believe in the concept of absolute value - I don't. Every system of measurement is relative.

If you live in a town with only one 7 then for all intent and purposes, to the men in that town, she is a 10. I am willing to bet that your value in Asia is much higher than in the US.

I'd say unless you know how to optimize social venues so that you are in the top 5% of guys (looks, status, confidence) doing successful enough with 8 or 9s so that you pull or get a non flaky number is going to be very difficult.

Daygame might be your greatest option. Not even the top 5% of guys in social venues are going out of their way to meet girls during the day.

Exactly. I've dated one legit stunner. Things is, she was pain in the ass actually. Like 80% of the time I wanted to strangle her for her spoiled bratty behavior. What was funny is that my buddy who hung out with us one time asked me later 'how do you deal with her, she's so depressing'. He was right.

A 10 is a combo of looks, personality and most importantly self image. There are very beautiful girls who are cool yet have self image issues and think of themselves as no so cool. On the other hand, there are also semi attractive girls with unreasonably big attitude. So game should never be adapted to girl's physical attractiveness but to her self image in her head. Overly entitled 7 deserves some heavy negs even though looks wise she's so so.

If they did that, their game would never get better due to a lack of volume in approaches. The looks thing is a bell curve. 9s and 10s aren't as common. Seeing a 9 or 10 can happen once in a blue moon depending on which city you live in.

You'll often see many of these master players with 7s and 8s. They're attractive yet still common

RioNomad your rating scale that you outlined in a different thread '10 only exists in a photoshopped picture' makes me automatically multiply your ratings by 1.1, because that means your scale goes from 1 - 9. Maybe the Tier I style rating system I see being used here is better, especially since tastes vary.

Anyway, it seems that in this forum anybody who makes claims that not many people have experienced is suspected/accused of exaggeration, so that may be why you don't hear much about such things.

Living in EE countries you can legitimately see 8+ girls on a regular basis. In Prague for example, you have a chance to meet them if you know which night spots, gyms or special parties they are likely to go to, for example. But generally speaking, a lot of them are not easily accessible at night time and the best chances at them for ONS are when they are living abroad and visiting home for a few days and are going out with some old High School girlfriend. Then they are away from their steady bone and not too worried about their local reputation or getting found out by somebody.

As far as gaming goes, I rarely use any traditional routines (e.g. Neil Strauss style DHV routines) on girls, but twice I got shot down hard by Tier I girls when I thought things were going OK, but tried to speed things up using them. In these two cases I used the Cube and '5 questions' (you know, i will ask you 5 questions, and you have to give me the wrong answer to all of them). They both said almost the same thing: "I hate guys like you who try too hard" and "Maybe it would work better if you didn't try so hard".

So I think with the really top girls, it doesn't take long before they've heard just about everything and you've got to rely on your own charm and creativity. Otherwise, if somehow you happen to have a true Tier I girl to wing you and you can still hit on other girls when you are with her, then when she's one of the 2 or 3 most beautiful girls in whatever nightspot you are in, that will work wonders for getting any other Tier I to listen when you open her, because top girls are very competitive.

Being 6ft tall is normal for white guys. Doesn't mean anything.

Having a high IQ and estimating that you're top 25% doesn't mean anything either. Probably over half the RVF board falls into the same category.

This is actually a pretty tough one. First our ego is always wanting to inflate the ranking when you talk about the chicks you've banged (who ever doesn't want to feel like they're the man); and on top of that, after you've been fucking a chick for a while all of her little flaws become readily apparent. These have significant value because the general public has acknowledged that they are in the 99.9 percentile for at least some standard of beauty.

Where are you daygaming to regularly find 8s, 9s and 10s? Are you in a tier 1 city or have you just stumbled upon a sweet spot? Would like to hear more info on reliably meeting girls of that caliber with daygame.

Personally, anytime a guy says he banged a legit 9/10, I automatically assume she was a 6/7.
