RE: Ukraine vs. 2nd Tier Russia?
Vorkuta I responded about Ukraine because the poster included it. However I specifically mentioned cities under 100k. Even you said 50k is boring.
I only mention feu in one sentence. I do believe most cities of 50k Are shitholes. That's my view. Roosh thought Kharkiv was a shithole I do not.
However, most of the cities you mention are larger than even 200k. I do not have issues with cities like those. For example you mention 3 cities that are oblast centers. I specifically exempted cities like that. I know enough about soviet union that all money went to oblast centers and other important cities. Since the fall Russia has not distributed funds to majority of little cities. You also mention a city in Belarus that is not an oblast capital but has over 200k pop. And is of historical importance going back to napolean. Basically I didn't say much that counters what you said lol. I also have no trouble in small cities under 50k because I blend in and have language skills. However I would tread differently in a small city of 30k when I am sticking out like a sore thumb speaking English and my group might also include non whites. I respect your views and experiences. I just personally do not want cities under 100k. Intact I am to much of a city boy to live in a small suburb or city in America, so it's my preference.

I think people forget how enormous Ukraine is, both in area and population. It has nearly one third the population of Russia. It has four and a half times the population of Belarus. It has more people than Poland. I'm sure it's possible to find lots of cities of all sizes, if you chose to do so. My girlfriend who I met in Kharkiv is originally from a city of about 80k people. Yes, she says her hometown is boring. I think there is only one nightclub there.

To put this in another perspective, the population of Ukraine is the same as Spain.
