Anyone have the scoop on Bali?

My friend will be doing his R&R during his deployment in August and wants to go to Bali. Id prob have picked another place but what ever thats where he wants to go.

So has anyone ever been there? Does it have any good nightlife? Any hot locals or am i just gonna have to game other tourists?

fuck me. the cheapest flights cost almost 2k!!

there has got to be a cheaper way to get there!

I have never been, but I know have a bunch of friends that have been.

I think its mostly a surfing/boat trip type place. I will ask for you.

yea it is a surfing spot. but i checked around it it has a pretty good nightlife scene with a mixure of locals and tourists, alot from australia.

we are going in the high season, so it should be packed and pretty fun!

Try flying into Bangkok and taking Air Asia from there to Bali.

might want to check it out and make some dates before you get there.

we found out we couldnt go to Indonesia because it is restricted to people in the military for r&r due to it being a muslim country.

You may want to check into that.

I took a space available flight to Bali once during an r&r. There were other guys on the plane doing the same thing.

Maybe whoever your buddy asked up the ladder didn't feel like filling shit out so they just said no?
