This is something I have long concurred with. I have more admiration for people when I find out that they have a lot of friends that don't look like them and come from the same socioeconomic background and neighborhood. If you live in a place that's particularly diverse and all the people you are close to look just like you, it seems a bit uncanny.

Back when I was doing online dating for example, if I was messaging a girl that wasn't black, I'd be much more likely to hit her up if I saw that she had a wide array of friends in her photos. Even if she was black, I'd prefer to see one that had different types of friends.
