18 Year-Old Raised by Lesbians, from reddit
I know it's reddit, but if you were looking for ammo that being raised by women only makes feminine, emasculated men, look no further. Seems two make it even worse:
http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/13...by_my_two/
Identifies as pansexual (how many different terms for this are there)? Check.
Wore high heels and painted his nails? Check.
Talks at length about the role of "gender" and society? Check.
Has an awful relationship with his father? Check.
Reddit once again proves it's the world's largest beta factory? Double check.
Also, everyone thinks his "mom on the left" is "hot". Christ, reddit.

Here's another account of Lesbo's fucking up a guy: http://www.thepublicdiscourse.com/2012/08/6065/
Quote:I had no male figure at all to follow, and my mother and her partner were both unlike traditional fathers or traditional mothers. As a result, I had very few recognizable social cues to offer potential male or female friends, since I was neither confident nor sensitive to others. Thus I befriended people rarely and alienated others easily. Gay people who grew up in straight parents’ households may have struggled with their sexual orientation; but when it came to the vast social universe of adaptations not dealing with sexuality—how to act, how to speak, how to behave—they had the advantage of learning at home. Many gays don’t realize what a blessing it was to be reared in a traditional home.
Quote:In terms of sexuality, gays who grew up in traditional households benefited from at least seeing some kind of functional courtship rituals around them. I had no clue how to make myself attractive to girls. When I stepped outside of my mothers’ trailer, I was immediately tagged as an outcast because of my girlish mannerisms, funny clothes, lisp, and outlandishness. Not surprisingly, I left high school as a virgin, never having had a girlfriend, instead having gone to four proms as a wisecracking sidekick to girls who just wanted someone to chip in for a limousine.
When I got to college, I set off everyone’s “gaydar” and the campus LGBT group quickly descended upon me to tell me it was 100-percent certain I must be a homosexual. When I came out as bisexual, they told everyone I was lying and just wasn’t ready to come out of the closet as gay yet. Frightened and traumatized by my mother’s death, I dropped out of college in 1990 and fell in with what can only be called the gay underworld. Terrible things happened to me there.
Quote:It was not until I was twenty-eight that I suddenly found myself in a relationship with a woman, through coincidences that shocked everyone who knew me and surprised even myself. I call myself bisexual because it would take several novels to explain how I ended up “straight” after almost thirty years as a gay man. I don’t feel like dealing with gay activists skewering me the way they go on search-and-destroy missions against ex-gays, “closet cases,” or “homocons.”
A perfect example of how gay behavior can be learned.

God, Reddit is a nightmare. Every time I see a thread, the topic alone is cringeworthy. Then I see the weird internet nerd omega male humor, and I start to think that the entire world is like that. And then I leave Reddit, and see the world is not like that, and 'relief washes over me in an awesome wave.'
Relevant: A Danish study on environmental factors linked to a higher incidence of homosexuality. Among them - absent father, death of mother during child adolescence, divorce, urban dwelling. Link: http://wthrockmorton.com/2006/10/18/envi...ish-study/
Another study found being raised by lesbians increased the incidence of homosexuality among male offspring. And that lesbian relationships were more unstable, and thus more likely to lead to broken homes. Link: http://www.firstthings.com/blogs/firstth...omosexual/

(11-24-2012 07:51 AM)Roosh Wrote: The "studies" coming out of American universities that don't concern the hard sciences are bordering on fraudulent.
They have their end goal in mind (abortions are great, gays are great, multiculturialism is great, feminism is great, etc.) and then go on designing a flimsy survey study that "proves" it. The irony is that millenials are being enslaved by student loans which go to the departments that put out this tripe. They're getting bent over twice.
This is not true. America isn't Scandinavia, here we have a strong religious lobby, which is also VERY rich. There is a bunch Christian universities. Even if there weren't, the studies aren't that expensive, and if organizations like NOM can spend millions on anti-gay-marriage political ads, they could definitely afford $50K for a study. And they know they need those studies, as they played the vital role in several landmark court cases. So the opposition is definitely here, and it is definitely not underrepresented. But where are their studies?
Even if they didn't, those studies were published in peer-reviewed journals. Unless you believe ALL scientists are following the same political agenda, if the studies were rigged, other scientists would be quick to point the failures out. The scientific community is pretty good in self-moderating.
I have only one answer to that - they have done the studies (after all, they aren't idiots, they hire experienced political consultants for god's sake), and the studies showed the same result as the published studies. So they threw them away and never acknowledged them. And this is why they do not dispute the published studies.
Not to mention it doesn't really apply here, as no study said EVERY child who grew up with same-sex parents would do great. Some same-sex parents would be shitty parents, but this ain't different from the opposite-sex parents, some of whom would also be shitty parents.
