I am going out shortly to take advantage of the Black Friday sales and buy a new laptop. You lot may not post in time but in case I don't see anything today, I'd welcome the responses.

What should I get? I would like something with a lot of power and not a MAC (for now). A friend of mine told me to get something that could run VM's so if I could get something that could allow up to 8gb of RAM and even allow space for a total of 16GB, I won't be mad. Powerful processor would be swell too.
Anything else?
Any recommended PC brands? Low cost if possible is never sneered upon by moi.

Ncix has some good deals on Ultrabook this Black Friday.

Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook - $500 off
Fujitsu Lifebook UH572 - $449 off

They aren't the top of the line Ultrabooks but pretty good deal. Not 8gb of ram though, but I'm sure you can upgrade them.
