Awesome response vid. The ironic thing is, that while the gay guys claim they will do all kinds of beta shit, they actually have the proper aloof attitude with women. So in fact they would NOT put up with most girl crap because they have zero interest in their pussy.

Now that I think about it, much of manosphere advice can be summarized as follows: think and act like a gay man (minus swishiness and the dick).

Heh. Great vid. And reading the hilariously outraged posts by all the women and their white knights is hilarious.

They keep calling them "douchebags" but don't specify what exactly they find so offensive. That's because all these men are doing is saying that they'd rather watch football, play video games, go powerlift or do MMA than spend time going to museums, watching Sandra Bullock movies and reality tv shows. We're sick of being their emotional tampons all the time.

The girl who tries not to nag and lets her man do what he wants to do will see that we're even more likely to spend time with them and devote a day or two a week to sharing our mutual interests. We're also more likely to take time to emotionally support them.

I disagree with the acting like a gay guy idea. No disrespect Menace but if someone is going to act gay they're going to have to go the whole nine yards. You can't act like a homo for a few minutes only to switch up to manly man aftert she conveys some interests. It just wont work. You mention women getting along well with homos and gay guys not putting up with a women's bs. The reason they get along, at least w/girly homos is because these guys act and think like women. They have common interests. As for them not putting up with bs, its true they have no interest in pussy, but the real reason is their love for drama. The girly (not butch homos) homos seem to crave more drama than your average american chick.

What do we advocate?

1) aloofness/teasing and not pedestalizing pussy
2) being fit/cut/lean and generally in shape
3) dressing well and being fashionable
4) eating healthy
5) living in nice places with good logistics


Aren't all of those things stereotypically associated with gay guys, or at least a certain segment of urban gay guys? I could link to a discussion thread on RVF in support of everyone of those ideas.

I don't equate manliness with being gay, but large portions of their non-sexual lifestyle are exactly what we preach. BTW, I believe the guy who wrote one of the best books on what it means to be a man (The Way of Men) is gay. We have non-trolling threads advocating putting moisturizer on our faces for god's sake...are you going to tell me that comports with traditional manliness?

I think it should be pretty obvious that the feminine aspect of gay guys is something NOT to be emulated. However, I think there's a little bit too much of gay = cooties around here (don't mean you personally). We should take good ideas and concepts from wherever we find them if they will improve the quality of our lives and lead to smashing more girls.

People often identify themselves and others with reference points. It's our human objective reasoning putting everything in it's categorized cubby-hole. Seems like there's a whole family of subjects and interests that are considered "effeminate" or "metro" even though they're anything but. I'd like to believe a red blooded straight male can do absolutely anything and be a fucking alpha badass at it.

A guy who listens to classical music might be considered more sensitive or effeminate than a metal-head, but to me there's absolutely nothing more masculine and testosterone driven than Beethoven or Liszt. These guys wrote music that started revolutions.

Cooking has always been considered effeminate but the best chefs are men. Working on a hot line requires grit, aggression, and endurance.
