How do you deal with you're Emotions?
Hi Guy's
I used to get stressed and Angered pretty quick when I was younger and even know I still have to deal with my emotions when it comes to other people, getting on my nerves not on purpose but just by doing what they are doing.

Since I need to be relaxed and Focused to get the Results I want at Work I have implemented a few things into my Life and I am happy to hear what you Guy's do on a Daily Basis to keep you're emotions in Check.

The first thing I do is EFT: Emotional Freedom Technique
It helps me reduce stress, anger and other more negative feelings.
I use it to deal with my beliefs as well and change them so that I don't get annoyed by small stuff.

The Second thing I do is Meditation 21 Minutes just looking into my Garden at three and just concentrating on my sourroundings.

That helps me as well to focus better and see things from different perspectives as well as being more present and unattached.

I just heard about a Product called Om harmonics which I am testing for my Meditation which helps to get into the Zone much faster.

I Bath and listen to Music : May Sound Strange, but doing that has helped me start my Day more Relaxed and happy, it has even helped me get better results at work since I take my Time to Think and Improve my Systems.

That's about It: So what do you Guy's do to stay calm and deal with you're emotions ?

I indulge in three carnal substances - cigarettes, alcohol, and a particular herb recently legalized for recreational purposes in Colorado and Washington.

Working out is also great. Nothing like pumping iron or going for an intense run after someone has REALLY pissed you off.

I used to meditate occasionally, but haven't in years.

5 miles on the treadmill and a long shower usually get me back to an grounded emotional level. The hardest part by far is to follow-through with whatever plan you have to get you out of the funk. It seems so unappealing when you're in that fucked up state of mind.

Generally just lifting a lot of weights, doing some light cardio, and drinking does it for me.

I have a hard time dealing with emotions. And will pay attention to this tread to learn some tricks.

I tried meditation, medication and yoga, but it only took me so far.

RE: How do you deal with you're Emotions?
Emotional people are people who are too invested in a topic that is debatable

Guy gets hurt from girl = too invested
Mad about results of elections = too invested

There is a difference between standing your ground and being emotional. Being emotional is effectively for women.

Next time you get angry ask yourself "why am I really angry/trying to start heat/upset". Chances are it is over something mundane.

If you get wound up over something factually incorrect that's fine, anything that is "debatable" is a waste of time. Instead of trying to "solve" your issues, just stay busy doing something you enjoy and you won't be mad anymore. Don't know how you could be mad when your day consists of 1. Working out, 2. Eating well, 3. Hitting on chicks and 4. Having sex. Don't see where anger comes from that life.

Normally I lift weights whenever Im not in a good mood. When weights arent available I do push ups and other body exercises until Im feeling better or my body just cant take it any more.

Thank you fore you're tips Guy's.
I will include Lifting Weight Into my Life since I just do Push up at the moment and my Body is screaming for improovement anyway.

The Thing is arround 96% my Day is Awesome and I usualy don't get bothered that easily from other People it's just sometimes that People, that are close to me just do Things and I just feel this Pain of Resenent and Anger it's like a backpain in my Lower back.

It is much better now and I am more uneffected but I used to get Angry just from noise Especially when I am Working or Focussing on Things that are important to me, Sleep, Learning ect.

I think Changing the Place I live will help me to fix that, since I noticed the Problem Not beeing there Ase I was in Paris ore Just outside.

PS: The Spelling might not me that Good in this Post since I am writting this on my Mobile I will Run it True my spellchecker Ase soon Ase I get Out of the Hot Tube Smile
Thank you for Understanding

RE: How do you deal with you're Emotions?
it's weird but when i feel bad and just fully honestly accept how i feel at the moment it goes away pretty fast. works like magic. to accept whatever you feel at the time and to accept how shitty you may feel doing what you're suppose to do.

the other thing to do is to absolutely ridicule yourself for feeling like that and the whole situation you're in. easier said than done, i know, but with a little bit of discipline and trust (there is a method to this madness) it will work. so for example, you had shitty day at work or few girls rejected your harshly or you kind of feel intimidated by some girl you want to talk to. then instead of attaching yourself to that those bad emotions you can just stop for a minute and talk to yourself using some kind of absurd funny voice to amp up the ridiculousness of the situation. basically you laugh at yourself and and diffuse the tension inside your body which makes you anchor bad emotions with some stupid childish shit. it's fucking weird, i know, but again, i tried it and it WORKS.

RE: How do you deal with you're Emotions?
Lifting weights have been an awesome thing for me. It helped me fight clinical depression without relying on drugs and has helped with my temper.

Another thing I have been getting very good at is diagnosing why I am angry. Most times it is something else in my life that I don't feel secure in that I need to address. For example, in the past I would have a shorter temper when I was low of funds and bills were coming up. So the guy that cut me off driving really didn't make me mad but the stress of low cashflow was really what was eating me inside.

It is strange, just knowing why I was angry helped dissipate the anger.

I usually just vent it and forget it. For some reason if I let out what is bothering me (to me dog, on a message board...) it is generally pretty cathartic. Putting it down on paper or on a message board also lets me read it and see how trivial it is in the grand scheme of things.

People who live a life that consists of nothing more than the above are a very very rare, very fortunate minority. Not to be completely cynical, but you've kind of glossed over the more mundane, sometimes shitty aspects of life (like work, for instance) that for many people is not a matter of choice, at least until they grit their teeth and strive for something better.

It takes real emotional control to push through that process of struggle. Especially for those born without much to stand on.

To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes
frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling

@ Beyond Borders I retired from Work now But I used to work at some Jobs that People think are shitty.

It's all Perspektive you can learn to enjoy Almost anywork. I worked at Mc Donalds, Call Centers, Factories, Door to Door, I toured with a smal Company True Germany Selling Glases Clement at Supermarkt Stands my Favorite was Working in a Kitchen.

And I always found a Way to enjoy myself yes some of the work was pretty Hard Labour and it was Not always Fun sometimes I fehlt like just jumping from a brige or Not going there but I Knew It was temoprary and I had to make it Fun in Order to achieve my Goal of retiring from a Job in my early 20s Now that I Look back I am hally for every work I did and now I apreciate Not Having to work anymore.

I can concentrate on eating Healthy, work on my Investments study different Strategies and Test them read, Network, develop my Game moove to another Country and do what ever I want all Day.

I still Need to Deal with my Emotions and my Time and I have other Problems that I didn't have back than and I am an absolute minority but the People who worked where I worked where happy Most of the Time and they are going to work this Jobs until they die. So it's Truely a Perspektive.

It's Not always Easy, but you can learn how to enjoy it and if you don't find another Job I think I had arround 8 or 9 Jobs before I retired the Last One was the Most Fun since I found Out what I enjoy. But offcourse nothing Beats Not Working at all Hard work is overrated in my opinion.
