Thought this would be a fun observation, as I've been a thorough manosphere reader for almost 2 years now (started with Roissy, then he got all end-of-the-worldy and moved here where moderate voices prevail). I tend not to post much, but I learn.

I've noticed a major trend in many forum members and manosphere bloggers. We're all pretty intelligent, and came looking in the manosphere for "something more".

We should all take the test, and not be judgmental towards as each other, as we all know that intelligence =/= getting bangs, guts does.

I know this IQ test is basic and seemingly mundane, I think we'd all benefit from a little self-humbling. And it's kind of fun.

Bragging about IQ is lame. So says Stephen Hawking, and I think he has authority to speak on such matters.

That said, I'm a member of a well-known IQ society, and let me tell you: intelligence is not the way to game chicks. If anything, it's a hindrance. Not that you'd want to game any of the wildebeests who attend such gatherings.

Part of swallowing the red pill is realizing your intelligence is working against you. They all say they want a smart man - bullshit. Once I started lifting I got finer ass in greater quantity than I ever did by being able to explain Maxwell's equations at the drop of the hat. Women want a good dicking. Period.

My reasoning is that most of the forum members are all relatively intelligent, but were somehow drawn away from academia and the humdrum of blue pill living and wanted something more from life.

Also, we wanted to fuck a lot of women.

Your intelligence can be used for gaming benefit, you just have to do it subtly. Today I was working with my group and they made a presentation for me to present to the class. I showed up late, hadn't looked the presentation over. They tell me to look it over and memorize everything. I read it over for a few minutes. One of the girls tells me to practice it. I practice it but give a very general overview cracking some jokes. She gets all mad saying its worth a lot of her grade (well the group's grade). The other girl is ready to present after me and we go in succession. I hadn't looked at the stuff I needed to know since the first look over. I closed the laptop stood up, threw off my cocky demeanor and spit all the info with specific names and data. I made long eye contact with the girl who was giving me shit and she started smiling. She congratulates me on a good job and asked me if I wanted to study for the final sometime soon.

I took an official IQ test when I was sixteen. I was 3 standard deviations above average.

It took me years before I had the emotional intelligence to parlay that into any sort of real world success.

As mentioned already very smart people guys often have poor game and social skills. Less intelligent men do much better than they do with women. But I think that the very best players (the top 5%, say) have both good game and very high IQ's. That would be the killer combo. If people actually used their intelligence to almost "read someones mind" in the moment, rather than just come up with abstract ideas as a solitary pursuit.

Agree that IQ by itself is not all that great. You really have to do something with it.

PS: I love how we're practically all 125+. We must all live in Lake Wobegon.
