Very nice report Giovanni! Just one question: how the hell are you able to stay 8 months in Brasil visa wise? Do you have an investor visa? Student visa? Or simply overstaying your tourist visa?

I have an investors visa. Did the overstay before. A simple thing to do as the maximum fine is limited to 800R$ and there are no issues next time you come in.

Let me know when visiting Rio again

In a nutshell, from what brasilian and gringo friends have been telling me:
1) Goiania is simply sick when it comes to the quality of babes there. Clean, modern, medium sized city in the Centre West of the country, a bit hot, but very safe and packed like crazy with hot babes. Everywhere.
2) Belo Horizonte. Another gem. Modern, clean, safe, pleasant city, people are educated and nice. Babe galore.

Nice data. Yeah I had one girl have her friends basically push her into a cab for me (anti cockblock??) but otherwise it's kissing lots of really beautiful girls at bars and clubs but tough to get into their beds or them into mine after a few days so far. I mean any night I go out I can kiss a beautiful girl, even if I leave my house in shorts at 11:45 at night on a Sunday, but I am not sure if Rio has much of a one night stand culture or not. Not so much, right?

I'm speaking conversational Portuguese here and it's a lot of fun. I wouldn't enjoy being here as much trying to open every girl in English. I am a little annoyed that some of the most beautiful girls are walled off in the elite, exclusive, expensive clubs. This place is a expensive and it's hard to have too much fun paying like $15 covers before you even start drinking, but oh well. #cheap

I love it here. I think I could eventually get a number of hot girls in bed if I waited for a few dates. I'm not trying for any easy lays with mediocre girls here, just a lot of blue balls with the sexiest ones at the moment.

It seems that a lot of people who don't like brazil don't speak Portuguese and find it hard to get by in English. I can see this making a bit of sense if you're only there a couple weeks. I must admit it took me a couple weeks to get adjusted, but that may have also been because I was in São Paulo and another tiny city about an hour outside of SP for my first two or three weeks. Most of the time was spent in the small city, where almost no one spoke English. As far as nightlife, there wasn't a ton going on, but the days made up for it. We did a lot of constructive, cool stuff. Not to mention just the idea of being in such a foreign land for basically my first time besides Mexico when I was young.
