Some of the most beautiful melodies I've ever heard.

This recording is also played by a very competent youth orchestra. I like youth orchestras because they are incredibly passionate compared to some professional orchestras where members are jaded from broken dreams/playing the same thing over and over again.

Rosenkavalier is the story about a young man (Octavian) who is having a relationship with a much older, married lady. He then falls head over heels in love with someone his own age – but someone who is immature and naïve. The rest of the opera is about the pain and inevitable angst of being torn between these two women.
