Athlone, I am sorry, the tradeoff is very very clear, and I am surprised you don't see it.

Look, the biggest issue facing this country is fiscal disaster. All other issues -- right wing anti-progress or left wing insane feminism -- pale into insignificance.

The Democrats won't face this big issue. At least some Republicans are trying, and at least Republicans value business and capitalism. Republicans won't set the clock back on "progress" -- the horse is out of the barn for that.

But the Democrats WILL take us down the hell-hole of fiscal disaster, and your generation will get swept into and drown in that whirlpool.

huge lines in VA, according to cnn, they might have to extend voting till tomorrow. FL having same issue.
