Call it a date or not?
OK I saw this cute chick on the side of the road with a flat tire. She seemed to be clueless and by herself and i wanted a closer look (even if she wasn't cute I would have stopped though to help because i like helping people). I decided to pull over and went to her and offered to help her out. I could change a flat in less than 10 minutes so it wasnt a big deal. She accepted and was real thankful. We bullshitted for a bit just being nice (nothing real gamey, but no beta shit) as i changed the tire and she was real thankful for me helping her. She did ask if I ever visited by her 10 minutes away. She was offering to buy me a beer or pitcher sometime to say thanks and she told me she worked at a restaurant. I suggested we exchange numbers. She said yeh and then I proceeded to finish up replacing the spare. After all was said and done, she went to her car and wrote her number and gave it to me without me asking.

My question is this, when I walked away I couldn't really tell if she was just being nice and offering the beer to say thanks, or if she wanted the D....

Not a big deal i will invite her out and find out the deal within a night, but what I want to know is when I ask her out should i refer to it as a date? to clarify upfront my intentions. It may save me some time.

I would appreciate the free beer, but I don't want to be in the friendzone to start. Not looking for friends. Nor do i want to drive over and waste my time if shes not serious. Or do i just play it as normal and refer to it as a meetup and then proceed physically as if its a date and see where it goes?

Just wanting another opinion. Confident I can handle it but it's on my mind for not just this girl but when this happens in the future. Call it helping a girl out and then getting the number but wondering whether its a thank you or a date..

Take the free beer, escalate, if she doesn't really want the D, you still got a free beer.

It's almost never good to explicitly state your intentions to a woman. Remember that women get satisfaction just from knowing that a guy wants to fuck them. Not giving her that satisfaction will help keep her interested while you build attraction.

Never call it a date, because it puts pressure on her and you during the hangout...

Also its always a date, when a man or women meets up...regardlss if you doing laundry together...you can always transition to a date.

In life your always taking a risk when pushing for a date...she could flake at any point....casualty of war....accept the fact women are crazy....part of the game....no need to analysis this

Good job pushing for the date/drink....if she meets you for a beer try to hug her, hold her hand, put your leg against her, and try to kiss her....she will not see you as a friend.....

never verbalize your intention use escalation to verbalize your intention....

Assume she wants the D. You don't have to put a label on the "date/meet-up". Just go have a drink and try to bang her. Make sure your logistics are set up properly so that her bedroom or yours is a short walk or cab ride away.

You were a hero for her, she wants to pay you back with some pussy.

What everyone here said. Follow standard dating protocol and definitely do not verbalize/confirm orally whether this is a date or not. Just assume it is, and that she wants you.

RE: Call it a date or not?
Cool, thanks for the input guys. The greenlight is always nice (that she digs you initially and accepts it as a date) going into the date for confidence kinoing, escalating, etc. But not knowing is just part of the game, I will setup the date as drinks with no title, and pursue as I normally do with the escalation as unanimously suggested. I should have my answer that night.

Question though as i'm planning logistics and i'm not sure how she's gonna respond to me setting things up.... She told me she works at a restaurant, so if for some reason she suggest me go to the restaurant she works (she gets free beer, etc.) I think I should decline and suggest somewhere else am I right?

For one, I don't want her to be working while I drink alone (a sign she doesnt dig me), and two, if she's off work but we're at the restaurant she works I don't want her around a bunch of people she knows. I want the isolation....

it's always "let's hang out"

If a girl wants to call it a date, so be it, but always suggest to hang out.

In this case, say, hey im ready to take u up on your offer of that pitcher you promised Smile

Thanks HiFlo

Any thoughts on the meet at her restaurant? I'm avoiding it if it comes up. I'm gonna hit her up soon for a rendezvous at a spot of my choosing.

What I like to do is treat it like a date, but never call it a date. Even if I take her to dinner and a movie, and she says what a great date. I will bullshit "Date? I don't even like you..." with a cocky grin. That moment is the perfect moment for escalation. You are saying with words "i dont like you" but you are saying with body language "i want you." It's a winning combination for me.
