Woman who dressed in racy costume for Comic Con speaks out about sexual harassment

Quote:Several of them, she said made 'WOAH LOOK AT THOSE KNOCKERS' faces as they stood with her.

Great use of shaming language.

RE: We don't owe them a fantasy
It's always amused me how "nerd" culture became trendy. Of course in the process of becoming trendy it transmuted into an odd hipster version of nerd culture. Big Bang theory exemplifies this: a bunch of normal looking guys dressed in garish clothes repeating whatever the show's writers read in cnn.com's science column. So since you have trendy hipster guys pretending to be nerds, you also get the trendy hipster girls pretending to be nerds, and they dress up like comic book characters and go to a convention expecting to find a bunch of hot guys with those stupid black plastic glasses. Except instead they encounter real nerds: obese forty year old men with goatees and greasy ponytails who like to spend their weekends pretending to be elves and beating each other with foam swords.

Remember, it's only sexual harassment if the guy staring at your tits is breathing audibly through his mouth and has a runny nose that's crusted snot into his mustache.

Going to Comic Con dressed like that? This woman is a genius!
She found her attention whoring-paradise. She just complained so other women will stay
away and won´t ruin her secret place.

Also, looking at the pics I think she may be a transsexual.

LOL at the comments...

"How dare you stare at my breasts which are hanging out?" "Oh, wait you are a producer/agent/blogger/person with 3 readers? Would you like me to bounce up and down?"

"Send her to Tahir Square dressed like that...she'll get a little more than 'ogled', poor dear."

"Honestly, what does she expect? She's in a room full of nerds. They only women they see are usually made out of ink or megapixels. Of course, when they see one of their favorite buxom female superheroes- okay, when they see any of them in the flesh, looking somewhat or even better than the character itself, their hormones are going to take over. They're excited because it's a strictly comics/video games environment, she's real, and *boom* hormonal overload. I went to the first-ever Comic Convention in New York City a few years ago at the Jacob Javitz Center. I grew up owning a few comic books, and was welcomed into the video game age with my Atari 2600. So needless to say, being a fan of comics and video games, it was quite an overwhelming experience. While there, we encountered a woman dressed as DC Comics' Power Girl. She did the comic justice in every aspect. If you're not so sure who Power Girl is, Google her. You'll find cosplay pics as well as comic pics. You won't forget her."
