Well the good news is she has no claim for discrimination, just like girls with small tits can't sue Hooters, fat girls can't sue this place, because having in shape and attractive servers is part of their business model.

The bad news is that a news station is taking this seriously and fatties are eventually going to push to get protected status for weight. They'd almost certainly fail, but you never know.

I agree. The restaurant shouldn't now have to stock larger skirts to accommodate fatter waitresses. She couldn't make the cut, so tough. Instead of whining about it, she should use it as motivation to lose some weight. If it's her goal to be a waitress at the Tilted Kilt, she should drive herself to achieve that. She isn't an ugly girl either. If she hit the gym and hardened up, I'd smash.

I have no sympathy for this delusional bitch and women like her.

Fatties have every reason to lose to weight---economic incentives, increased sexual power, health/longevity benefits. Losing weight for these women means gaining power and status but they're too lazy to do what it takes and prefer to just whine about it all on TV.

A fatty who doesn't lose weight and complains about the consequences is like a guy who is smart but doesn't apply himself and is pissed that he doesn't have a high-paying job. That guy has so much incentive to get his shit together and doesn't because he's weak and lazy. Nobody would have sympathy for this guy and we shouldn't have any for fat women.

I have a friend like that. One of the smartest guys I know. Just plain raw intelligence. He can do anything and figure anything out. He just has issues with authority and is always in trouble, has warrants out, getting evicted. It's crazy. It's like he walks around thinking the rules don't apply to him.

to me this is good PR for the bar/restuarant. its apparent that Tilted Kilt has strict standards and men can be assured when they go there they wont have to be disgusted by the sight of some fat employee wearing a kilt

I saw a pic in that report of their preferred Tilted Guy. I doubt I would look very good in that man kilt and I'm not 25 or below. I think I'll go apply and when they naturally tell me to beat it I'll call TV stations and bitch about it. I wonder if they will do a story on me?

Haha yea good point, notice during the interview with the manager the logo is proudly displayed. And he get's 1 min of free TV time to talk about his new restaurant! I want to go have a beer there now.

Maybe the world isn't so bad after all, and the fat girl had a deal with the manager to bitch to a news station? Mericans are business savy, after all...

Specialized costumes could be a great excuse for discriminating against fat chicks. Get one that's fairly intricate, and made only for slim women. Get called out, and say, "Your honor, the costume is expensive and intricate, and it would pose a great burden to us to alter it or acquire a new one to accomodate the plaintiff [a fat chick]."

Yeah that's a great point - it's not like this is the one and only consequence of her being fat - there are DOZENS of ways her quality of life is diminished by her corpulence. The example of the lazy smart guy is instructive, because it shows what he and this fat girl have in common - that they want the world to conform to *them,* so that they needn't work on themselves.

I've always thought one of the greatest differentiators of guys who patronize a forum like this, and normal guys, is not necessarily how much they get laid. It's that they're willing to experiment with their life, to take advice from other men and recognize that they can improve. So we hold fatties in particularly low regard.
