Fame Daddy will offer would-be-mothers “top quality celebrity surrogate fathers” when it launches next February, according to Dan Richards, its chief executive.

Prices will start at £15,000 for a premium sperm service from the clinic.

The company’s website, which launched last week, claims that women can pick from a range of celebrated high-achievers when picking a prospective father for their offspring. The identities of each high-flying father will kept secret as the donors have been guaranteed anonymity. The men will also be required to sign a legal waiver of their rights to access to the child.

However would-be mothers using the Fame Daddy clinic will be able to identify their area of achievement and other personal attributes.

They can choose from donor dads who have excelled in a range of fields including sport, entertainment and business. The website lists a range of “sample profiles” of typical sperm donors, including an Oscar-winning actor, a member of the House of Lords and an ex-Premiership footballer.

The company gets a nice payday.
The sperm donors get a decent sum of money themselves I'm sure and also get to spread their genes at no real cost (no child support, alimony, etc).

Its a win for everybody but the few displaced betas who'd otherwise be impregnating some of these women. The number of displaced guys would be few in number in anycase. They could probably expatriate and win elsewhere if they'd like to avoid dating down (I assume the ageing spinster is about as good as they could do in the west).

The only real losers here are the kids who'll have no idea who their fathers are, but nobody ever really thinks about them anyway. Perhaps the a few of the more hapless displaced betas will be recruited by the spinsters to play the surrogate role.

The concern is will the anonymity of the donors stand up to legal challenge? It's one thing for men to sign away their rights to visitation to the children (donors usually donate because they don't want to see the kids anyway), but will they get hit up later for child support if the going gets rough for these mothers? My guess is that any woman that can afford this won't be hard up for money, but you never know. Also, can this clinic get enough clients to stay in operation? And why would a celeb donate to this? What's in it for them, and how much do they get paid for the sample if anything?

No need for the doom and gloom from this kind of thing: remember that a woman needs to pony up 15,000 pounds ($24,174 at current exchange rates) just to get involved in this. That is going to severely limit the pool able to engage in it, even if the number of women interested will be very high.
For those ageing spinsters without a liquid $20k to throw around, betas will remain a viable option, one possibly preferable to "ordinary" donated sperm.

Still other women who would think about this might get hung up on the lack of intimacy and the fatherlessness of the sperm donation path and could favor an actual partner instead, further entrenching the beta stronghold on the market.
Betas will still have a role to play, no matter how hard folks try to whittle it down. They're too numerous and too crucial to the functioning of everyday society and the maintenance of the lifestyles modern women in the anglosphere now take for granted.

This is no loss to the pussy marketplace because 99% of the women that would use this service aren't wanted by men anyways, hence one of the reason for using this service. I guess you could say some betas lose because they won't get one of these women but actually it is a good thing for these guys because these women are very likely to be perfectionist, superficial, demanding, overweight, and princesses in their own minds.

Then he derives a plan to dupe the greatest men of Europe into giving up their sperm which Oswald then sells at ridiculous prices. He uses the money to live a lavish lifestyle in Europe, seducing women left and right.

The book is full of sex, money, debauchery and extremely Machiavellian dry humor. A lot of you guys would enjoy it.

Genius idea. Since each instance of in-vitro fertilization costs the same, by putting an exclusive spin on this and charging so much more, the clinic is going to rake in a lot of money.

Still, why pay a lot for an Alpha father when you can just blow one (they're not going to pass on some free fun), inseminate yourself and sue him for child support?

It's a little known fact that Roald Dahl was a really raunchy and dark author, most people know him for his kids books about giants and trolls or whatever. I have a hunch that re-reading some of those books would find a lot of hidden innuendos

This isn't out of the realm of believability because there are clinics that screen for certain types of donors. They want donors with certain desirable physical characteristics (blond, blue or green-eyed), professions, education (Ivy League), etc. etc. Women with the money want to do everything they can to genetically engineer the brightest, best-looking kid.

True. You wouldn't know exactly who it is, but you'd know what they do, what certain physical characteristics are, etc. You may want a top musician/creative-type to be the father of your child. That's really what these chicks are after - certain characteristics from men that are achievers in certain disciplines.
