Last night I rolled dolo to a club to hear a local DJ I wanted to check out. He was doing an opening set, so I got there at about 11. The place is pretty well dead, and it's all dudes. Anyway, I get a drink and pick out a spot to chill. After a while I decide to do a lap of the place to see if more girls had shown up, or if anyone I knew was there. As I'm walking, I make eye contact with a girl sitting at a table with 2 friends (girls).

She says hey, I stop, say hi, walk over to the table, she says "you look like just my type" and motions for me to sit down. I sit next to her and she is pretty instantly all over me, asking about me, telling me I'm cute, etc. She's leant up against me, etc, you probably know the drill, basically making herself available, I kiss her, we start to make out a bit. She's basically attacking me and I'm kind of pulling back a little from it, figuring I didnt want to look to eager/desperate for her attention (cause this happens to me all the time right?).

Anyway after a while more of talking/making out/groping/etc (at one point she starts to straddle me, when a club security dude comes over to the table and is like hey not in here, lol) she asks me if I will come with her back to her hotel room (nearby). The place still hadn't really "gotten going" and I figured it probably wasn't going to, and this girl was really hot, so I figured no way I was going to do better tonight, go with the sure thing. We go, she's still all over me in the cab (she paid) etc, etc

Get there, throw her down on the bed, take her top off, she rips my shirt off, it seems like it's on. Shes down to her thong and I've still got my jeans on, I pause for a second to kind of build the moment or really i have no idea wtf i was doing it just seemed like a good idea to chill for a sec.

Then suddenly she has this fake crisis about losing her cell phone. I'm like um who cares about your phone... and try to go back to what we were doing, she gets back into it a little bit, then is like "i still dont know where my phone is and my friends are going to be back here soon and then you have to go" and i'm like ok whatever, i get up to take a piss. when i come out she's using my phone to call her phone and it isn't ringing.

I'm basically confused as fuck at this point. I try to get things started again, we fool around a little more, then she basically rolls over and is like goodnight, turn the lights off will you? I'm like ummm yeah I think I'm just gonna leave. She says good idea because her friends are coming back. Then she's like "you can call me sometime" and I tell her that I don't want to call her. Then at that moment her friends get back. I say whatup to them, bs for a minute and then get my shit together and I head out.

What the fucking fuck? My read on this is that the girl was not serious about having sex but thought I was hot just really wanted some attention. I'm trying to tell myself that there wasn't much I could have done differently to get the bang.

But I want to try and learn from the experience anyway... What do you guys think? I know I didn't give too many details of the interactions but I figure nobody wants to read all that shit. Any thoughts or ideas for how I could have gotten the bang?

She caught a serious case of LMR. Sounds like you broke her state when you paused after she was down to her thong. Once you get that far it's imperative to push through and get the notch because if you don't keep the momentum going the girl's hamster will start to spin and she'll inevitably come up with a reason not to have sex with you (in this case her bullshit excuse was her phone). I always err on the side of potentially moving too fast for this reason--if you make her uncomfortable you can always back off and start going a little slower.

It really shocks me how unconcerned some girls are about the possibility of date rape. Either that or she's just incredibly fickle. Probably both.

Don't try to figure it out, It could be any reason and the next bitch you see will have a different reason.............

My guess is she was trying to get attention from you as well as to somehow tell her friends and or someone else through her friends that she got laid. Trying to make someone Jelous, but who cares...... Strong work Cat on to the next one......

i think you could have started heavely kissing in front of the house door and manhandled her inside the house right after you closed the door [grab hair, slam against the wall/door, heavy makout, undressing in the meantime]. it was pretty much ON even in the club so i suppose she wouldn't have objected to that

Sometimes a girl will decide to go home with a guy to have sex with him. Then before the sex she will feel anxiety about having sex and then change her mind. This has happened to me a couple of times. Fortunately it is pretty rare. Usually when a girl wants to have sex with you, she will follow through. But if this does happen, you are done. No sex that night. No way to recover and in my opinion you shouldn't even try. It might mean that she is an emotional mess and you definitely don't want to fuck a girl who is a an emotional mess.

Ever have a girl agree to go home with you but wants to do a couple shots first? I think women do this because they know they get anxiety right before sex and that helps to prevent it.

this exactly. I was in a similar situation not too long ago. What I did was call her phone to see if it rang somewhere around her. Then calm her down, and call the bar she was at, asking if they picked up a phone, or where she can go tomorrow to see if the night crew picked a lost phone off the ground during closing.

the chance of it turning up is slim to none, but it pacifies her & makes you think you're not "just" after sex.

There are honest people in the world, and I put a sticker on my phone ( a cheaper Samsumg Ganalxy mini) with my email address on it. A lot of people are sympathetic enough they would email you if they found it. The other day at a bike shop someone had turned in my $100 Serengeti sunglasses that I had forgotten.
