I can't help but agree with Rational Male and Mark Minter on most points, yet it offers no balm for my proverbial wounds. Honestly, I'd love to revolt against the feminist bullshit being pushed as part of Democratic/Left agenda, both in USA and in Europe. Yet there are so many thing about Republicans that strike me as just plain uncivilized, just plain disgusting, with blatant disregard for human compassion or restraint. It's a whole another extreme that I cold never vote for. While I view the Democratic platform as mostly good and positive, although tainted by unfortunate bits of cancerous, feminist bullshit mixed in, literally not a single item on the Republican agenda appeals to me. I just can't.

And on top of all that, it's not even certain that Republicans don't support that same bullshit. They're simply a bit milder and choose to go the "man up" route in their attempts to protect the family, but I don't think any of them would ban alimony, institute mandatory paternity testing, crack down on false rape allegations, shame slutty behaviour, balance the treatment of divorce, and so on.

I can't force myself to choose a huge pile of things that disgust me for just a slim hope that a single thing that disgusts me will be marginally better.

Maybe in the future, a political option will emerge that will combine general values that can attract the majority of support, while mixing in some red pill views (Tuthmosis for president? ). But I won't hold my breath. While I disagree that Republicans are the solution, I definitely agree with Rollo/Minter that things are only going to get worse, requiring men to be ever more careful.

p.s. I probably should have posted this comment in the election thread, but I'm not sure where it really belongs since I did miss the original quote in that thread (along with everyone else) and now it's buried 3-4 pages deep.

Creepy Eel - there is no distinction between the parties when it comes to promoting the rights of men. We have this problem in the UK, everything is about pandering to the weak gender as though there is something wrong with men. In the EU there is even talk of positive gender discrimination, they use word's like 'positive' when discrimination is what it is and there's no positive about it.

I agree with the general sentiment, but this graph that I have found shows the birth rate to be 14.2 births per 1000 people in 2002, dropping to 13.7 births per 1000 people in 2012. Where is this 4.32 and 1.9 coming from? Am I reading the wrong graph?

There is one missing element from Minter's rants. He seems to think that each red-pill guy should just be living on his own terms and do this own thing. I think that's wrong. I think like minded guys should be getting together to do things. Just like in The Way of Men. That's what this forum is all about, but it should happen to a much larger extent in real life. I totally sympathize with Mark, but this writing is a second kind of porn for some guys. It's anger porn. Just can't get enough of it. I admit it's appealing to read and let the hate flow, but I wouldn't want to live my life this way. I also got divorced, but it sounds like he was really really screwed. Takes a long time to get over (took me 1 year and mine was not contentious although very painful), so maybe he simply needs to write like this until he can be at peace. The main point is just not to get married.

90 days is plenty of time for intimacy. Dropping birds before 90 days is fine as long as you keep spinning plates.
