Here's an interesting story. This guy went from being a goon running an infamous stripclub/whorehouse in Miami to being jailed indefinitely in Panama after setting up a legitimate whorehoue.

Dude was living the life back in the day.

After the police took down his club, he went to Panama where the good times kept rolling.

"When you go to prison, it's like dying, but you get to see your own funeral," Galeota says. "You see who wants to fuck your wife, who wants to rob you, and who your real friends are."

Through it all though, he remains unbowed.

Quote:Although he admits that "running around whoring and casinoing wasn't worth it," he can't promise to be faithful to the woman who has stood beside him. "That's the goal," is all he'll offer.

"My wife can say she has regrets, but that's bullshit," he says. "She hasn't worked for 15 years. We had a $500,000 house, cars, and motorcycles. We traveled all the time. I gave each of my kids a Rolex when they were 5 years old. This business has been very good to me."

They need to make this a movie.

Damn thanks for posting that, very interesting story, I don't feel bad for the guy, although I do think he was straight up fucked by the Panamanian Government. One thing about mobster guys is that they never quit when they are ahead, they get addicted to the lifestyle, and then eventually it catches up to them and fucks them over in the end. The guy should have just been investing in real estate and legitimate businesses in the U.S. Anyways, on the bright side maybe the guy will lose some weight in prison, he is seriously obese and I'm impressed that he was able to do everything he did being that fat and out of shape.
