With that being said, IN Malaysia they are guarded pretty much by the whole Chinese community ala any Korean girl in Korea.

When I was walking around with my Hong Kong wife in Malaysia I got death stares every single place that I went. In night clubs, even if the mixed group has a favourable ratio you'll see 2 guys basically fencing off a group of 7 girls, it's fucked up.

Outside of that Malaysian Chinese, male and female are funny cool guys just have this weird fucking Chinese preservation mindset.

I have a possible job offer in Ipoh, through the company I'm working for. I would like to know if it's worth it relocate from Malmö(SWE) to Ipoh. In terms of life quality, game, partying, vacations etc. I'm afraid that the only highlight is to hang out it KL or travel to BKK, JKT or MNL during weekends. But that still sounds more fun than to be in this shit hole. Have anyone been to Ipoh or know what it's like to be there?

I spent some time in Ipoh. Nothing special but ok. It's heavily Chinese and has the reputation of having the most beautiful women in Malaysia. Michelle Yeoh is from there. Also famous for Chinese food. There is a fast train to KL. I think it's two hours.

Ipoh nightlife is close to non existent unless you venture into KTVs (usually places with foreign ladies as GROs, pay per hour to sit and drink with you) or local dive pubs (might spot some SEA talents there). Its mainly a heritage town where out of towners flood in during the weekends to eat -- and thats pretty much it.

If you're here on work, you might stand to save some $$$ though. Compared to Penang and KL, the cost of living is lower in Ipoh. However, if you intend to fly out of the country, mind you, there are no international flights out of the states airport. So chances are you will have to head to Penang or KL for a transit.

Not that it's exactly international but I've flown to Singapore from Ipoh. If I recall correctly, there was also a flight to Medan.

Great food in Ipoh, women are OK. I've been meeting a lot of cute Malays in Taipei and HK recently.

Yeah, there is definitely some cute Chinese Malaysian girls. If you focus on the girls with a Hakka background there peeps originally came from up North of China so they are IMO hotter with whiter skin, longer bodies. The Cantonese and Hokkien girls (vast majority of the chinese in ML) are stumpy and the latter have very funny looking faces.

To Chinese, being tall is higher-value and thus hotter. I guess you could say 170cm+ instead of 175+, but not any shorter.

I was there for a week and with tinder I had more than I could handle, the Maylay girl I met up with wasn't very attractive and also the same case with an Indian girl I met. I did meet some other girls that I was able to get notches from though. Chinese, Filipino, and Indonesian.

The culture there is very weird and the nightlife on Changkat is horrible (full of hookers/sex tourists and australian backpackers). The area is great for convenience of food and shopping though. Bangsar looked like it might have been good night life but I went on a date and just got food. Amazing food for two people with a huge variety and more than we could eat at Devi's Corner came out to about $4-5 with non alcoholic drinks.

Are you sure you arent talking about where Beach Club is on Jl. P Ramlee. That also houses the Thai club which is another known hooker bar. Healy Macs are also there as well as Chang Kat.

Chang Kat has a lot of expats, Piscos bar just off Chang Kat is probably 95% expat. Havanas is more of a tourist destination but will also have some expats too.

From my experience good looking Chinese girls are very difficult to hook up with in KL. I've had way more success with asians in US, compared to KL. However its very easy to bed the Malays,Indians,Filipinos...

Your white factor doesn't mean jack to Chinese girls there. However it's still easy to hook up with the mediocre ones, but mediocre girls are easy in all continents....

By decent I just mean like enough to browse the web, e-mail, download/upload small files, etc. without problem.

I've read online that Malaysia has among the worst internet in the world and that they also block a bunch of shit.

I've found KL acceptable for their internet, no problems steaming sports and voip calls not dropping, thats on the 20mb astro iptv package. Penang the speeds weren't as fast but no problem to use Skype on wifi.

Funny. I like Asian girls precisely because they're skinny, I hate fat thighs and oversized tits and I'm happy to be in a place where skinny girl shaming rhetoric like "give her a cheeseburger" hasn't entered the mainstream.
