Not trying to be a jackass (as there's already a thread started with a quote...maybe there should be a thread just dedicated to quotes?), but this quote is totally original and is definitely something that blew my mind.

I was out for lunch with my boss the other day, me and my co-workers Luke (cool guy, a little too much of a caricature but he does well) and Katie (7, uses sex to get what she wants a little too readily, but she's still happy to hear from me whenever I call to ask if I can come by) who are both around my age. We riff on all sorts of things all the time, and my boss lays out one of the best, most insightful quotes I've ever heard on the subject of 'girl game' or anything else.

Some background on my boss; he's a private-sector multi-millionaire, about 55, hot wife 15 or so years his junior, been married 3 times and has kids from each of them. Even though he's older he takes care of himself and still has girls loving him everywhere we go. He's straight up older G who knows how to play the game, and he's never hesitant to offer advice or let you bounce ideas off of him. I'm not trying to sound like an emo asshole, but he's a boss and a friend.

Anyways, I'm talking about this one I'm currently working. I've never heard a person say 'I'm not like that!' more than this girl, but she's a legitimate 9 who comes from cash so I just compartmentalize it for later and move on. Funny isn't it? How we know what we know about girls from our experiences, and yet none of them is 'like that!'.

Asking about my next move to counter her girl game (I actually said 'girl game'), Luke gives his token 'just Tarzan the bitch!' answer, Katie gives her token 'That's lame, if I like a guy enough I'll sleep with him as soon as I can.' answer, and after a small silence, my boss lays out this gem when I ask how I should counter her girl game:

"Son, women are all the same, and 'girl game' is what they play when they're trying to convince you otherwise."

The rest of lunch was eaten in awed silence.
