Self Concept vs. Public Concept of your Vibe
During an acting class in college, we did an exercise. It was done to find equilibrium and congruence in our character roles. While browsing the forum, the "what do other members look like" thread inspired me to elaborate on this topic. The values of this go further towards your own self actualization.

We all have certain characters in our heads, of who we want to be or who we think we are. However, others have a different idea of us. It's best to gather information through a process of self reflection and surveying others opinions. A procedure we followed:

You write down 10 characters you think you are.

Go talk to random strangers, mention you are doing an acting class and are looking to find a character for a monologue, most people would be glad to give you input - use on a variety of people for best results

Sit down and look list your thoughts on one side of a paper and others opinions on the other side. Find links and commonalities in characters. Those are strengths you should be building upon.

Rinse and repeat every couple of months to keep yourself fresh.

You can also play this as a game in sets, ask people to stereotype each other, bitches love doing that shit. Pose it as a mental exercise; you get info on what a girl digs and use it to your advantage, you can also use it to cold read her.

To use myself as an example, I used to think of myself as Maximus from Gladiator, I was consistently profiled as Vinny Chase by peers and classmates. I decided to be more assertive in confrontations instead of making peace. I also toned down the flashiness in clothing which helped people take me more seriously.

Good idea, I like how incorporates building your inner game, customizing your style to fit your strengths, and as an attraction builder activity.
