I think we are forgetting to get more detail about the situation. Is this the first time this has happened? If so maybe lack of $$ is putting everyone on edge which is expected . Would you say parents brought you up well? If so can they survive without you? without you giving some $$

For example I currently help my folks with $2000k a month to pay bills and mortgage since dad last his job. Putting 3 kids through college isnt easy. Especially when one is going to medical school.

This is the time you become a man and grow your brain and not your balls. Step outside the box you live in to get a view from above. ....
