I love how the author of the article uses euphemisms like "meaty" and "fuller figure" as if it's not as bad as it really is. As someone who has suffered from a chronic illness for years, I know that looking like shit is usually a sign of your health deteriorating. Fat women just don't understand that if the body looks like crap, you're most likely going to feel like crap(and if not, you will soon). Excess weight of this magnitude is never healthy, both internally and appearance-wise.

Before I opened the link to the story, I immediately said to myself that these pics were photoshopped. Then I opened the link. I have to admit to being shocked that she let herself go like this so soon. I hope she sees the photos of herself, and reads the comments and hits the gym. Early Madonna was on the thick side (but not sloppy like this - in fact, I preferred early Madonna to the lean, muscular one), but look what she did with her body by putting in the work.

Jezebel is reckless and shouldn't be helping to promote bad health.

If they are going control smoking ads, they're should be a law that you can't step onto the public stage at such a level if you are going to be overweight.

That Gaga decided to indulge more heavily in food isn't the problem. It's that she backed off of working out that made her fat. She decided to lay around and eat. That's cool. But take a break from performing while you do so. If you're going to step out on stage 25 pounds heavier, and still wear the revealing costumes that you wear, SOMEONE is going to notice it, comment on it, write about it, and even ridicule you about it. If you're a performer, how you look DOES matter.
