According to Swedish feminists, men take up too much space in public transportation and that is becoming a big problem.

They have therefore started a protest group called "Macho i Kollektivtraffiken" (Macho in public transportation) where they take pictures of men who take up too much space by for example spreading their legs while sitting on the seat.

It is ridicolous but it made me laugh.

Hell, a dude from Lund I met a lifetime ago recently got married and took his wife's name! No kidding! They could have used the SWPL hyphen thing... but taking her name is just monumentally beta.

When I went to Sweden many years ago, the first night I was in Stockholm I went to a neighborhood pub. A girl from a group came over and invited me to sit with them. I didn't have to do anything. It set me up for my whole time there. I found Swedish women to be the friendliest in Europe. I don't know if the asshole feminists have taken over or are they just making a lot of noise.

I think the difference is that Swedish men just started doing that with no precedent of 1000's of years of tradition. The overall frame of the Swedish guy taking his wife's name is that he's doing it to make her happy at his expense which is beta.

Jews do not take the wifes name. The basis of if you are Jewish by birth is based on maternity though. Its a patriarchal religion traditionally. The newer assimilated version of Judaism such as Reform, Reconstructionits, Traditionalist and Conservative are more liberal, but still generally take the husband's name.

Looks like an excuse for shy nerd girls to post shots of guys' crotches. They pretend to be upset. But really this is just poorly disguised female voyerism.

Notice all the photos are on empty busses of single men. No ones even standing in the isle, it's so empty.

Could easily be mistaken for gay soft porn. Just a series of cruising trophy photos of guys in tight pants by wallflower camera phone nerds. And a winking media in on the real agenda, happy to publish soft porn pictures and titilate their female readers.

No it is the generic -son names being purged where families are taking the more historical name. This is a cultural movement/nationalism if anything, a response to these very generic surnames growing very numerous over the last 100 years. Give a Swede half a chance and he'll wax on forever about Swedish history.
