I am in the situation in which the girl I was dating (four months, of which 1 and half I was away), sends me text asking me how I am, what I am doing, but when it comes to meeting, she is vague and says she is busy...

I found a post by roissy on how to revive a flagging relationship, but was wondering whether there is any other suggestion out there on what to do.

It's hard to say. A common agreement is that it's very hard to win back ground lost form poor game. Even if you do manage to revive your relationship, it will not have the sort of fiery temper of one which you never messed up with.

As I understand it, it's a very subtle and technical thing involving strong frame control, outcome independent aloof game, and other things you can only really become expert in by meeting new women and getting the experience you need in an environment where you can try unproven techniques.

You should meet new women.

I don't understand. Is she your girlfriend? A lot of the game is taoist in nature my brother: Try less she'll come more.

My advice: Start diversifying your investments.

Yes, I guess there are not that many other options. For the past two weeks I have never contacted her first. She reached out to me 4 times, of these, three times she then disappeared (in one case she took 3 days to reply) when I suggested a meeting. Today she contacted me again, I replied after several hours saying cutting short. I'll just take this as a lost, if it comes back, much better...

So, after some time of radio silence, I texted the girl asking what she was up to. Replied within minutes saying she was going home the following day for a long weekend, but that she was going "to be around next week and weekend. will you?"

I replied saying to have fun and that we would have talked next week (didn't say yes or no). She replies "Okay let me know". After few hours "hey glad things are good with you" I replied.

Following week I texted her, she takes more than a day to reply. Since my birthday was last weekend, I suggest she joins my birthday party or we do something the following day (the day of my birthday). After asking me where and what times, she didn't show up.

I was drunk, a girl friend made me send a beta message "I wish i was going to see you". I know, mistake. She says she hadn't heard from me and asking me where I was.

She send me birthday wishes the day after my birthday saying a friend was in town and asking how my party was and whether I had been out the previous day.

Options I am considering:

1) no reply at all, it's lost.

2) hey thanks for the wishes.

3) hey thanks for the wishes, but I don't play these games.

4) one final attempt (but I am very skeptical).
