Not necessarily. You have to remember that they were born this way ....so they have nothing to compare their existence to - as far as they are concerned living the way they live is normal.
Furthermore, their existence and apparent good health is a testament to the strength of the human spirit -they are teaching all of a lesson ....
Plus, they will have a tv show which will likely make millions for themselves and others.
At this point they have contributed more to society than you likely ever will ......right ???

How does making money and being on television contribute to society? If anything, based on the preview, they're detrimental to society. Where's my thumbs down button?
1. They make a lot money. Thus they have to pay taxes. The more they earn, the more they pay. Taxes go to fund our military, interest on national debt, roads, medical care, education, etc..etc..etc..
2. It take a lot of people to produce and put on a TV show on a major station. Easily 100+. All these people continue to have jobs, they pay taxes (see 1). Furthermore these people can support their families - without being on the dole.
3. They can teach us lesson about persevering despite nearly insurmountable odds. About the power of the will to live and thrive if properly tapped. Especially, during such hard economic times,....looking at these girls makes you think two things: 1. ...maybe i don't have it all that bad afterall ....and 2. If they can get up everyday and give a go so can I...or so should I.
-this is helpful for many today - especially when so many are so negative and full of self pity and helplessness.

You really have no clue how money flow or influence works.

I'm a businessman. I know exactly how it works. Dont make statements without explaining your point. I explained mine.
-They provide entertainment. They and the people who make it get paid. Once paid, they pay taxes which goes to among other things (military, infrastructure, safety net). Furthermore, with the money they make, they spend on things (bigger homes, cars, clothes, jewelry etc.) - all this consumption provides jobs (manufacturers/salespeople etc.). What they don't spend, they save in a bank (which provides money to be lent to businesses/consumers) OR they invest in capital markets: bonds or stocks: which provide capital to companies or governments that need it..........get it ????
Their economic success will help a lot of people. And there is some moral lesson that can be learned as well.

Not too many examples to use, but it seems that when one dies the other follows shortly:
Daisy and Violet Hilton
Quote:On January 4, 1969, after they failed to report to work, their boss called the police. The twins were found dead in their home, victims of the Hong Kong flu. According to a forensic investigation, Daisy died first; Violet died between two and four days later.
Chang and Eng Bunker
Quote:The twins died on the same day in January 1874. Chang, who had contracted pneumonia, died rather suddenly in his sleep. Eng awoke to find his brother dead, and called for his wife and children to attend to him. A doctor was summoned to perform an emergency separation, but Eng refused to be separated from his dead brother. He died three hours later.
I find this particularly interesting:
Quote:Krista and Tatiana Hogan, Canadian twins conjoined at the head. Born October 25, 2006. Share part of their brain and can pass sensory information and thoughts amongst each other.
