I have seen a growing trend of people rushing to defend and compliment fat girls when people call them fat. "Beautiful on the inside blah blah blah"

Being fat is starting to be seen as a disability. It's not. It's a personal choice. Stop eating so fucking much. As the users on the forum have seen, fat shaming is very effective, as it 1. clips back the entitled attitude 2. slowly trains them into the thought process that they have to lose weight.

To stop this obesity epidemic we need to stop accepting being fat as "healthy" and start shaming and educating towards better eating and exercise.

I throw out a prediction that in the next 5-10 years, fat shaming will become a hate crime on level with racial discrimination. Fat will become the new normal and people in lean muscular shape in contrast will look like demi-gods.

They don't care because the alternative for them is worse which is no play and being alone. I find it funny that people in relationships think they're getting more tail than me.

Perhaps the problem, as Hertiste suggests, is that there are too many men around. In the past, young men died more often in wars and scuffles, and at work... Now the world is safer than it has ever been, medicine is saving more lives, and there is an abundance of dick for most women. Women don't have to work as hard for quality dick as they did in the past, so now some can afford to be lazy fat bitches. Perhaps a dick shortage is needed to reinstate natural selection and competition in their camp.

Since blaming "genes" is a good excuse for bad parenting(junk food in big units at a young age, poor athletic activities)..

The obesity epidemic started in the early 80s when the entire 'fat is bad, carbs are good' dietary science came out. Ever since then you see a linear increase in obesity in america year after year. Like heartiste said, the fat chicks create a dating market squeeze for the remaining thin chicks, which make them act even worse.

You can't fool the laws of thermodynamics. And that whole "fat is bad, carbs are good" thing isn't necessarily inaccurate, it's just that sources of fat and protein feel more filling sooner than sources of carbs. That's why most people feel full after eating steak, but these same people can endlessly eat bread and crackers and shit.

We need to take a much broader view of these things.

It's not just FAT apologetics that's on the rise.

Sure, that might be the most organized form of vice indulgence currently going on.

But there's so much apologetics for druggies, single moms, people who can't balance their checkbook, etc as well.

We're becoming a society of "decadents," in the Nietzschean sense: too much indulgence of vice, not enough weeding out of bad influences.

One form of decadence that's very near and dear to my heart is drug addiction.

I know because I'm a recovering addict.

It's like.... Uhhhh douchebag?

It's precisely BECAUSE life is tough that people don't need the added problem of slavery to a substance and the eventual hell of withdrawal.

You never know who has the potential to become an addict, so it's NOT COOL to advocate drug use in ANY WAY.

Much like the fatties, druggies and others with vices need to hear painful truths, not convenient platitudes.

This was floating around facebook a while ago, Fat-Acceptance propaganda at its most ham-fisted (pun intended). This is their movement in essence, holding up the fat and ugly as "healthy"and "real beauty" while tearing down and vilifying the the beautiful.
