A new doozie getting passed around by lots of big women on Facebook.



It's really hard not to respond to this shit with at least a pinch of a reality-check, but with all the bullshit people have been fed it's only bound to go down bad with "friends and family" on there. On a social platform like that I keep some opinions to myself.

I'm pretty sure the definition of beautiful as they mean it does indeed require a healthy weight level (and not in the cornfed-healthy kind of way)...Maybe not skinny, per se, but let's get realistic folks.

I try not to let it get to me, but these people seem so hellbent on convincing themselves that obesity is natural just so they don't have to change.

The girls that say stupid shit like this probably get so intimidated when they're surrounded by girls that actually look good and are skinny. It's easy to have high self esteem online but it's another to have it in the real world.

Kind of related. I was at the grocery store AMD saw a rare obese chick. This bitch was eating ablock of cheese while shopping. Bought $200 worth of junk food. Right after she went to jugo juice and got a massive drink. She wasn't born fat her emotional weaknesses made her that way. And if these people want to argue inner beauty: lack of willpower, gluttony, sloth and insecurity are not beautiful by any means

Agreed. This is why I have been saying that in you should strive to have your daily routines revolve around where and when the most beautiful women are. Take the extra block out of your way because there is a fashion school at that corner, go to a certain cafe as thats where the make up artists take their breaks, hit your gym at the time when the women are there (8-10am at mine), etc, etc.

As Houston stated, beauty attracts beauty, just as the opposite is true. The events I go it is extremely rare to have any rhinos present. And if they are, they are damn cool and fun to be around and not bitter and hating on the others. This intimidation factor works in my benefit all the time, and it also keeps my haunts rather pleasant places as the girls with the confidence that do go there up the competition factor between the other females. Its a win win.

So, apparently this thing of dudes holding up signs saying supplicating shit to chicks about their looks (often with a pouty look on their beta faces) is an Internet meme. And, feminists don't like it, naturally, because it's "men telling them what to do." Apparently, our old friend Amanda Marcotte wrote a circulated bitch-letter about it. This is further proof (not that we need any more) that lame, beta behavior doesn't score you any points with chicks (even deluded feminists).

So, going to the "neighborhood gym" makes you a slut...?! Wow is right - what a fucked-up, twisted, and self-defeating paradigm to live with. I'd almost feel sorry for these people if they didn't cause so many damn problems for everyone else.

It seems to me that many women who get a fair shot at writing a newspaper article, giving a speech, etc, are more likely than men to underestimate their audience and say things that turn them away. I realize this every time I read an article on CNN.com that is disrespectful to someone for no reason, and I scroll up only to see that, almost always, a woman wrote it. Happens maybe once every two weeks.

The women who build a solid career, Hillary Clinton for example, tend to be the ones who recognize that success and respect come from hard work, not simply from abusing your podium to cash out your personal resentment against men or other groups. I think men figured this out a long time ago, not from intellect but from experience with social groups. Your family may put up with your bullshit, but your community will quickly turn its ears to someone else.

Imagine Mitt Romney saying, "the best person to understand an American man's problems, is an African man," then smiling and high-fiving a starving Ethiopian.

It would be totally transparent as a fake display of sympathy and solidarity, and would most likely damage his campaign.

And yet, that's very analogous to the message of the commercial you described.

I remember that back when I was in high school debate, I would occasionally make a good speech that demolished my opponent. If I was up against a guy, he would almost always try to make solid counterarguments, relying on logic even if he knew he couldn't salvage his position. However, the girls would usually resort to emotional garbage and sometimes crying. That kind of stance may work on a husband or boyfriend, but fails to resonate with judges, voters, employers, and others with non-personal relationships.
