If you guy want to understand a bit about where this girl (and others like her) are coming from, here's the thing:

She has probably never, ever had even the momentary attention of an alpha, nor does she encounter ANY of them in her daily life.

I spent several years hanging out at a few grad schools in Boston, and I looking back I remember encountering exactly *one* alpha male. He was a tall, loud, often angry, ex-military german guy, married to some stunning woman half his age.. but he was THE ONLY ONE.

There were tons of brilliant people, people with status.. but they were all betas. Some where 'greater' betas, but most were just 'smarter' betas.

Guys - feel pity for this girl.

She has no idea what it's like to be courted by someone who is viscerally desirable to her.

All she knows, and all she will ever know, are those intelligent but uninspiring nerds around her that will never stir any real feeling in her.

Yeah I'll be nice and say that if she went on the Jessica Biel ass-workout for about four months and lost maybe twenty pounds she could definitely be a 7. She'd have to start brushing regularly though. She has some damned mannish features though.

Tuth, you bring up some good points about her potential. What kills it for me is the shape of her face, she'd need a completely new bone structure to reshape those masculine, horselike features.

As it is, if she lost 30 lbs (maybe 40?) and had serious tooth work done, I dunno, I'd say a 5 is the best she could hope for, but I think we need El Mech to weight in on this one.

As a funny experiment, go up to that super close up photo of her with the ketchup chips. Put your hand on your computer monitor so it covers her face from her nostrils on down. Not so bad, right? But then you take your hand away and then it's like OH MY FUCKING GOD KILL IT WITH FIRE.

I would just hope that after she'd lose 30-40 pounds, get some solid eye makeup, a light tan, wax her eyebrows, and clean up her teeth she could do half what those blokes manage. If she lost her attitude I'd put it at a low 7. Just trying to be positive and root for the underdog here.

I used to be a really ugly dude and through no small effort I look passable. She's asinine and foolish but I wouldn't like to be called ugly either.

Sure, there's a chance she's just stank, but I have a feeling she uses one of those natural toothpastes (e.g., Tom's of Maine). And. That. Shit. Doesn't. Work.

I went through a quick phase of using some similar shit (I bought it at Whole Foods) because I was trying to reduce the sulfates in my life. Then, one day, I looked in the mirror and saw some staining on my teeth I hadn't seen before. I freaked out, went back to my normal-ass national brand, and my grill went back to normal. Some chemicals are your friends.

Just a toothpaste change would bring this chick up a bit. Now let's get her in one of those exercise boot camps I see advertised in good-weather latitudes; erase the cynical, unsavory programming through hypnosis; and she'd really moving! Deep down, every chick wants to look good no matter how much she tries to crush those feelings down with blind career ambition, a "snarky" facade, and false I-don't-give-a-shit posturing.
