I received my degree from a state flagship university and it was a party school really. A lot went on, good looking girls to game, made some good friends with working class kids and upper middle class kids, and I enjoyed my experience there pretty much. I had to transfer there so I didn't get the typical 1st year dorm experience but it worked out in the end.

Now I want to know, since I probably won't get a chance to go to a world class university in my lifetime (graduated UG with a B average). How much does a guy really miss out on by not going to a Harvard or a Columbia?
