OK, so maybe this observation is obvious, but I've never seen a really hardcore bitter feminist in a happy, loving relationship.

They're always the women who aren't getting what they want with men.

Which makes me wonder...

Is "feminism," for a lot of women, just a way to avoid admitting that they feel like losers?

I mean, there is a level of vulnerability involved in admitting that you feel rejected, unloved, alone, etc.

But in anger and bitterness, there is a sort of illusion of power; it can be a sort of defense mechanism.

That's the assumption I had.
Although, I think it functions more like a support group though, where women can gain social acceptance/power by sharing their complaints. It really functions like a church, you have the head bitches telling them they're being marginalized and repressed, they all nod as long as everyone else nods, but only a few will ever take the faith to heart. Once you separate them from their sisters and betas and they're willing to berate their congregation (never themselves) and accept flaws in the dogma.

I've never talked to a feminist older that ~22 though. I'm sure they delve deeper once their plans fail.

Actually, I have. However, despite their hotness, they hated themselves for some reason. Feminism stems from self-loathing, and although all ugly chicks hate themselves, there are a few hotties with self-hatred issues as well.

I've never seen an attractive feminist (i.e., one cute enough to get married) not go ape shit planning her wedding. Almost all of them change their last names, too.

From my experience feminists fall under one or more of these categories:

1. Young and impressionable (15-22). All kids of that age range have their naive ideas of how the world "should work". Feminists of this age are no different.

2. Have major daddy issues. If you have a problem with the man who brought you into this world, it is going to affect the way you look at any man, and you will project those insecurities onto anything with a penis. (I have mommy issues, and it certainly taints my view of women in general. It doesn't prevent me from getting laid, just the long term shit. As a man, it's not a big deal, but you can see where it can really screw up a young woman's prospects for the future.)

3. Dykes (could be due to #2). Not all lesbians are like this, a good majority are though. You can usually pick these types out by looking for any of these signs: flannel, boycut/femullet, masculine features and demeanor.

4. No understanding of what "feminism" actually stands and strives for. These are like Christians that have never actually read the bible, just heard what the preacher man said. They have no real understanding of what they believe in. They just figure "I have a vagina, so I guess I'm a feminist". These are the most dangerous in my opinion because they give cover for the true manhaters out there.
