Okay so I read a lot of online news and in the past I've followed the story about California's State Treasurer, Bill Lockyer, and his relationship with his wife, Nadia Lockyer. After years of getting played, spending $$$ on her, getting cheated on, publicly humiliated, etc., he is finally divorcing her.

I think this story shows a lot of our cultural and social influences at play, unattractive, but high status and wealthy older man marries much younger and attractive gold digging "trophy wife".

Older man uses money and influence to help his wife win election to a well respected position as a local bureaucrat. Wife turns out to have drug, alcohol, and possibly psychological issues. Wife cheats on much older beta hubby with younger bad boy alpha while in rehab.

Husband stands by wife, until the relationship reaches the point of no return, and then divorces wife. Wife most likely takes half of older hubby's money, and gets a fat child support check for the next tens years...

That dude did pretty much every single thing you should not do. She's a nice piece of (older) ass, I'll give him that.

The woman was a drug and alcohol addict. She cheated on her husband. Now she states:

"My husband and I have differed on how to protect the family," she said. "I feel he has abandoned me and my child, and it's created an unsafe circumstance."

Yes, HE abandoned her and made things unsafe. She will probably get sole physical custody of the child, notwithstanding her prior drug and alcohol use. It just won't matter.

I agree with you, but I bet for sure he gets joint custody considering his wife's well documented history: drug/alcohol addiction, flaking out on elected office, cheating, making a sex tape, crashing her car into a lamp post (I bet her husband used connections to get her out of trouble). Plus the dude is paid and has mad connections.

If anything I feel bad for the kid, he's got an old fart of a dad who is 71 and probably only has another 10 years in him max. His mom is a gold digging cunt who not only has drug/alcohol issues, but probably has borderline personality disorder, and you just know she's going to be a raging whore and psycho bitch for the rest of his adolescence.

There are stories like this all the time: Woman cheats on husband, husband stands by her side at the expense of self-humiliation, gets further pussy-whipped, then wife has no remaining respect for husband who couldn't put his bitch in her place, wife divorces and rapes husband in court.

At least he was the one who divorced her.

This public official's very public case has a big impact on society and youth, as the feminazis continue to cheer "girl power!"

I'm not so sure she'll get child support or much money.


1. They're divorcing before the 10-year mark.

2. She's a registered drug abuser. He's a respected democrat.

The courts hate drug users more than they like women's rights. I predict the kid will go to daddy.

The 10-year mark makes a huge difference, sure, but on the other hand...

1) she's a woman.

So sadly your points may be less relevant than I'd like. She'll still take half of whatever they jointly earned during the marriage; the 10-year mark will just cut her extended maintenance payments.

I'd wager you're somewhat on with the "drug user so won't get custody" point... but he's an old man, the argument will go, and clearly can't be expected to properly care for a young child...
