I read the latest Bethesda magazine article about divorced daters and matchmakers in Washington, D.C. I did a quick internet search, and there are tons of matchmakers. They are all women, former human resources types, and I think they are pretty useless. I dunno, maybe clueless people need obvious advice and feedback from a date. For example, one 45-year-old guy said "Do you kiss on the first date or wait until the third?".

I think Matchmaker success is random. Their clients are too ignorant, inflexible, and scare to meet people live or online. So matchmakers just fix people up with whoever is available. And they charge a ton of money, like $10K with no guarantee. I mean, anyone can just charge a lot and give shitty advice. At least these women matchmakers probably give better advice to men than to women.
