So, met this girl last Friday night at a Latin place in Moscow, spit a bit of Spanish game at her, talked about Spain and Mexico, and got the number since she had to leave with her friends. We started texting in Spanish and quickly switched to Russian when she realized she barely knew Spanish.

She said on Monday that she was free Thursday. Wednesday night I text her to go out, she seems enthusiastic - I then state a 9pm and place and get no response. Text the next morning asking if she's ready to go - no response. I'm a bit bummed thinking she flaked out on me. So at 11:00pm today I get a backdated text from her at 9am saying sure and another at 8:15 asking for details.

So...for future reference, what's the best way to deal with a non-text response (seeing this other girl who has to constantly resend texts since hers don't go through)? If I call her when she really didn't text back, is that too needy? If I did, well, right now I could have been contributing to the I just had sex thread.

Damn texting and irregular cell phones - but in general I don't have this problem. I also HATE talking on the phone, especially in foreign languages.

Thoughts?

i agree. i call first. bear in mind that i take numbers from girls already interested in me.

what i personally like to do is to call first and just chit chat for 1-3 minutes without proposing for anything. just casual blablabla when i'm out doing something so i'm in active/on the move state of mind. and i leave it like that. that first call is just to establish some more comfort. then after 1-3 days later i call again to make a move. that second call is usually effective since now she's familiar with me calling and talking to her over the phone.

only if that doesn't work i switch to texting. cause who knows what will work with these socially retarded add girls.

ao85 - can you PLEASE give the forum some information on Latin clubs, bars, etc in Russia/Moscow? Will a good looking Latin player have to beat girls off of him when he steps in one of those places? Break it down like a weed sack.

But calling after no text response is ok? Anyway, it's damn hard to speak on the phone in Russian, that's the problem, but I'll give it a try. Will give some info on Latin clubs in Moscow soon.
