How The Average American Has Changed Since The 1960s
Pretty interesting:

In 1960, the average man weighed 166 pounds and the average woman weighed 140 pounds. Today, the average man weighs 194 pounds and the average woman weighs 164 pounds.

The average age was 29 in 1960. The average age is 37 today.

40% of Americans regularly smoked cigarettes in 1969. Today, only 22% regularly smoke.

Gmanifesto - the only thing I can tell these youngsters is to look at pictures of their relatives from back in the day. Compare that with some Facebook faggot today who wouldn't know how how to get home from the other side of town if he lost his iphone. Every man should do a year of physical work getting his hands dirty and I gurantee he would "man up" during that time period. He'd probably have a stress attack from going more than 3 hours of no smart phone the first week though.

The "average" American has changed but the top Americans are still lean, mean, money making machines!

I never compare myself to the average. I compare myself to the winners. Average is easy.

RE: How The Average American Has Changed Since The 1960s
Let's take a look at artists/celebrities:

Topping the charts in 1960, Connie Francis

Topping the charts in 2010, Lady Gaga:

Actresses popular in the 1960's:

Catherine Hepburn
[Image: cQGRB.jpg]

Audry Hepburn
[Image: 0YVOB.jpg]

Elizabeth Taylor
[Image: htPj3.jpg]

Actresses popular in 2010:

Natalie portman (bad picture I know)

Scarlett Johansson
[Image: TiJfc.jpg]

Mila Kunis
[Image: dCzhB.jpg]

In all fairness, I am being a bit harsh with the actresses today, it is hard to post a bad looking pic of Natalie Portman, who shaved her head for a role, but I doubt you'd see actresses back then piercing their noses like a bull or walking around in jeans with holes.

The end justifies the memes.

This weight gain is unsustainable. Heart disease and other weight-related illnesses will have large parts of the world in an economic vice in just 15 years or so.

Agreed. The top 5-10% of dudes today are still pretty lean and mean - though from the Indian Wars to the Revolution, the War between the States, the Oregon trail, the Depression, WWII there have been plenty of contenders.

I never got the appeal of Mila Kunis. Plus I saw her in a dumb movie with Justin Timberlake where she plays a careerist Western cunt, and I can't stand her now. And now she's fat and going around saying how it's impossible for her to date anyone because she presumes to be above it all.

If you don't think Scarlet Johansson can be sexy, just check out Vicky Christina Barcelona... And I don't think Katherine Hepburn was considered all that sexy in her day. Audrey on the other hand is definitely a favorite of mine.

How about average guy game?

1960's - No effort needed to find average girl
2012 - Necessity to not sleep with chumba wumbas.

Yeah, I hate it when old guys have this phony player superiority complex. "Basil, you're a good looking guy, you should have no problem! What I would do if I were your age! Back in my day..." Then he starts telling you how big a player he was, because he got 5 lifetime lays when the average was 2. Keep believing that, you old geezer. They're just wrapped up in this phony fantasy of themselves. Similar to the people who think everyone who's unemployed is really just lazy.

There are also old guys who see what it's like for a young guy and sympathize. They can be a good resource.

When I see old pictures, I'm amazed by how great everyone dressed. Take a look at Great Depression era photos and dirt poor people still had the dignity to look good. We tolerate far too much today ie. fatness, sloppy appearance.

The one great thing about smoking, in women, is that at least it boosts their metabolism. If they don't workout and eat healthy, they might as well smoke.

This reminded me about an excellent post from one of the best game blogs out there (IMHO puts both Roosh and Roissy to shame), Solomon II:

RE: How The Average American Has Changed Since The 1960s
The depressing part about that article for me is when he says "you wouldn't know a good woman". Look at roosh's most recent comment "DC is part of me no matter how many polish girls I bang".

After hanging out with Giovanny for only a few hours a few months ago my game went to shit for a couple of weeks because he asked if I had ever "been in love". This only made me realize the monster you become from gaming hard in this environment. You can't seem to exude a speck of "beta" nowadays.

So yeah that article is the worst because it really does make me wonder if I could see a "good woman" since they're all just spreadsheet math for me and meet up dates and times. Shit I haven't even hit 30 and I think like this.

So I guess can the average Western man spot a good woman? My guess, no.
