I am a fan of Comedy Central Roast. I like celebrities getting knocked down a notch and comedians trying to make a name for themselves. If you haven't seen any, Youtube best of Charlie Sheen Roast and you will see what I mean. They destroyed him and pulled no punches, yet Charlie was a great sport about it. They destroyed Joan Rivers but was a little too mean spirited for my taste. She did it to herself haha. The Hoff one was pretty good. Greg destroyed Larry the Cable guy.

Now roast are suppose to be of your friends, peers and great comedians but comedy central has been getting away from that. I don't think Charlie had any peers or coworkers unless you count William Shatner.

If you can choose six people to roast her, who would it be? Who would be the host?

Hopefully John Goodman shows up and you already know Tom Arnold does anything to make a quick buck. The show is going to miss Patrice O'Neil and of course Greg Giraldo.

I miss Greg Giraldo on the roasts. He burns people the worst out of any roaster.

I didn't realize Patrice O'Neal died. But then again, during the roast of Charlie Sheen, almost everyone talked shit about his weight and impending stroke/diabetes/heart attack etc, so I'm not really surprised.

I liked the Joan Rivers roast. She gives as good as she gets.

My favorite Roast was the one of Flavor Flav.

No doubt. He was really good. Comedy Central aired an hourlong standup special of his not too long before he died, and it was absolutely hilarious. If I remember correctly, Giraldo was a Harvard grad that decided to pursue his dream instead of his degree.

Anyone that is the subject of one of these roasts pretty much knows what's coming, and how they're going to get attacked. People that came up through the ranks of stand-up pretty much know each other, and everyone knows your weaknesses. It's an honor to sit up there and get blasted by your peers!
