The round the world ticket is heavily advertised in the UK, London is a travel hub and tends to have cheaper travel deals.
I have never seen that advertised in a Toronto newspaper, I am sure you could get the $5000 ticket for alot cheaper in the UK. Travelling out of Toronto is such a pain in the ass, they rape us with taxes.

If you look here on the STA site there are plenty of RTW tickets around the £1000 mark.

You have to be under 26 or a student to get the best deals. STA also have a US site but the prices seem to be higher there.

I love those language learning sites, Busuu is another one. I used it to learn basic Portuguese when I was in Brazil. The great thing is that you`re learning but it`s also more or less a dating site, there are a ton of girls looking to practice their English.

If your logged onto your live mocha account, click on the "serch" button on the right top corner. Thereafter advanced search. I think you have to be registered and logged on though.

No, I think it's free, at least as far as I know. I haven't really used it though, I've already worked out a pretty solid way of learning foreign languages. Maybe I'll see if Live Mocha can add value to that.
