That's true.

I truly believe being shit faced has saved my life many times.

However, I probably wouldn't have been in said situations in the first place had I been sober. I think that's a Catch-22.

The cops never showed up... but they have frozen it at a lot. The chip is still in the car... we have no idea what they're up to...

The cops aren't going to do anything.

They aren't gonna check for chips, and the only way they will want insurance is if you go to pick it up.

Probably too late now but I would have reported the car stolen, not sure how well that would go down on your tiny island though. You say that you're not sore now but give it a few days or even weeks and any soft tissue injury may cause you to be in a lot of pain.

350 people on the whole island? That has to be tough to game after a short while....

I've totaled a few vehicles and never got a scratch. From bouncing off a tree at about 60mph, ended up sitting on top of the console, running a snowmobile through a barbed wire fence at 70mph, to totalling a telephone pole with a Silverado, always walked away. Knowing my luck won't last forever, I have toned it down a bit.....

I take a lot of taxis now.

I'm shaking a little bit... but in general I feel fine... a bit sore on my stomach from the belt...

I am going to sleep now, please feel free to tell me how dumb I've been... = )
