I don't know if any of you are familiar with David X or not, but I have started to study his methods, and wanted to know if any of you have experience following his ideas. He basically states that in pickup you should be honest. So he is advocating that you just walk up to a girl and say something along the lines of "you piqued my interest and I'd like to spend some quality time with you." I have never tried anything like this...and normally opt for more traditional stuff. Do any of you adopt david x's style on a daily basis?

Nothing new. Just direct game.

If you have good game you should know when direct or in-direct is best for the situation.

Watching a little bit of his video, I think the best thing he has to offer is one of those uncle speaches where he tells you to get your head out of your ass. It's basically straight talk that, when received at the right time, can be very benficial.

I think Gunwitch is a much more worthwhile read.

Its honest and effective. The key is you have to have mad Swag.

I heard one of his interviews. I think his method sounds good for his style of confidence. He comes off as the calm, older guy with lot of wisdom and life experience. His confident and honest style is good for an older PUA. I'm not sure it's the best for gaming 23 year old girls in clubs. If you walk up to them and say "I want to spend some quality time with you" when you barely know them, it'll come off as creepy.

Gunwitch, I've only heard one interview and he sounded kinda douchey to me although he's a crackup to listen to.

Yeah, I would say this style is Not for the club.

Better for events ie art, charity, day Game, cafe Game, transitional Game, park Game etc.

Not the nightclub.

I don't like his methods. They probably have a 2% success rate. I prefer manipulation.

I haven't heard Gunwhich's interview stuff, but all in all I think the best way, or at least my way (which is naturally the best way) to approach all of this information and cut it up. When I heard David X on YouTube I thought to myself "this guy is right, get your head out of your ass" and when I read Gunwhich I thought "yeah direct game and be forward with your sexual wants" which David X also seems to propose. And then when I read a little of the other online stuff I take in the idea of social proof and whatnot. All in all, the most important thing to my "game" has been self assurance and getting better insights (erasing wrong info from my brain) about women. It's basically something, at least for me, best learned through experience. Reading these gurus doesn't do anything more than help my state when things aren't going the way they should. This is where David X comes in. He has that voice of reason that helps when you're feeling down. I dunno, at least that's how it works out for me.

direct honest game is actually my favorite kind of game....it seems to work well for me.....i don't know why?....it just fits my personality i think..... everyone has to experiment and see what kind of game works for them......everybody is different...

David X seems to me to be the real deal. I can imagine he actually has had sex with as many women as he says he has. I can't say the same for other braggers in the community.

If you can stand to listen to him long enough he can teach you some of the basics. Without foundations of self-respect all the game is world is worth nothing. He talks about basic ways to keep your self-respect when dealing with women who tease etc.

He also shows that its not about intelligence, its about balls.

I fully respect the guy. The guy is solid.

I watched some of the guys stuff a while ago, to me he just came across as a slow talking, used car salesman, and I don't think he could sell me a car. I think this is one instance where old school methods, or anything, just doesn't translate into modern practice.
