Nah- it's not like he was paying for a prostitute. He was giving a kickback to the crew and outsourcing + giving them an incentive to filter for the hottest girls. Fucking awesome. He's a god.

Rockstars are in a bubble. It's hard to know if they have game or not, because it's hotel to rehearsal, to hotel to show, then backstage party and back to the hotel. They don't have time to actually game. They usually have roadies or security procure backstage chicks for them. Sometimes they'll point out chicks by the stage that they want, and have their people make sure those chicks get the passes.

My cousin and some of his boys used to manage The Black Eyed Peas early on, when they were just a local LA group. They were their managers up through their first album (Will wanted bigger representation at that point), but stayed on as tour managers for a while. In the early days, they were on the "Smokin' Grooves" tour, with Cypress Hill and some other groups. They said the hotel situation after the show was ridiculous. They weren't even big yet, but pussy just delivered itself to them. Can you imagine what it's like when all you have to do is point, and the chick is delivered to you prepared to let you do whatever you want to her? Ahhh...the life of a rock star!

Yeah dude, blackhawk totally missed the meaning of what he was saying. This is like giving your friend a referral bonus for giving you a client, not paying the client and giving the client free service. It's actually pretty smart for the reasons soup mentions.

Once again, I bow to the wisdom of my elders on this forum. He's paying for sorting and pre-selection of the horde waiting to break in, outsourcing the task in some Timothy Ferriss way I still have to wrap my brain around.

I do like that Roth took out a $10,000 a year paternity insurance policy in response to so many false claims.

DLR: We get all kinds of letters, like, "I'm pregnant with your kid" - which is just physically impossible. What happened was that, about four or five years ago, a guy in the band had a suit from a woman claiming her kid was his. All the tests proved conclusively that that never was his kid. So I took out insurance in order to make someone think six times before she does anything. (source)

Paternity insurance sounds interesting. From what it sounds like, it has very limited applicability to guys like us. The insurance will pay for the lawyers in the event of a paternity lawsuit, not child support. A guy like Roth could be getting multiple paternity lawsuits easily, while guys here probably wouldn't, if they're only raw-dogging regulars and semi-trustworthy careerist chicks. Plus, there's always a DNA paternity test a couple hundred bones away. I don't think it has much use to us.

And I can't imagine an insurance company would ever write a policy to take care of your child support. They'd know you'd just start raw-dogging every girl possible as a result.

PS I saw the video of the girl in that meme, and she's hilarious.

Probably going to catch flack, but in Neil Strauss' The Game, he spoke of a couple rock bands/stars he interviewed that had no game to speak of. So that's not totally beyond the realm of possibility that yes, even rich and famous folks still need game to ban. This was a poor example chosen by the OP, because paying a roadie for BRINGING him a hot chick he saw backstage is WAY different than paying a chick to fuck. Banging bitches merely on the strength of their fame is still better than that.

The whole reason a lot of guys want to be rockstars is because they aren't good with girls.

That said, I don't think you can be a rockstar in the first place without being good with girls.

I'd bet that Dave Roth had no problems getting laid before he got famous.

Yeah. Just because you are getting laid, it does not mean you have game charm or charisma.
