I'm just wondering if you guys use preselection in your routines or tricks at all. The problem is that it can back fire.

Other books on Game say it is one of the main attraction switches and have routines you can use about your "model" girlfriend, or be seen with 2 HBs at the club to trigger jealousy, etc.

Again it sounds good but I'm not sure if you guys think it is worth it to demonstrate preselection....it can back fire. What do you guys think

Preselection isn't something you "use", it's just a consequence of being attractive and confient with women. Other women will see girls you talk to react positively to you, see their IOIs and deduce that you must have high social value if these other chicks are enjoying your company.

So don't try and "use" preselection, just improve your game and choose venues where it is natural to talk to and be seen talking to lots of different people.

P.S. In a social circle you can "use" preselection by having a female friend introduce you to people.

Thanks Dulst. The reason I ask this is that I read one of Roosh's books and he did not seem to mention much about preselection whereas other PUA books talk a lot more about it. It seems like more guys on this forum get laid more than on a lot of other forums.

Preselection is a key point in many other books but it doesn't seem to be used much by people in this forum.

Get away for those pick up book and all that stupid PUA jargon. 98% of the advice in 98% of books doesn't work. It just confuses you and retards your progress. There are no attraction switches to hit that you are not hitting in some way to a certain degree already. You cannot change the indelible. However you can improve on what you already have and how you think. Start there.

Preselection/Social proof is not a PUA term, it's a marketing term. The reason it's used in PUA literature is because PUA style game favours "marketing" over "product development" (ie genuinely improving oneself).

The unifying feature of non PUA game, despite huge variations within the genre, is the idea that product development is more important than marketing. This is why there is less talk of preselection - it's irrelevant to a high value man.

To put it another way:

PUA game = DO things so that you SEEM worth sleeping with,

Manosphere/selfdev. game = BECOME the person that IS worth sleeping with.

It's not what you do, it's who you are.

Preselection exists, but you can't force it. Roosh does talk about it in his book, it's just that he calls it "The Vibe." Act like you are a bad ass, like other women want you, like you're cool, and women will flock to you. Done deal.
