i was out with my wing on saturday and we both have different looks (blue eyes/soft features vs. dark eyes/masculine). we're both over 6"0 and have game so we get a lot of attention. however, you can tell that girls choose between us more based on their own preferences rather than in terms of what we're doing or saying.

Julien is good looking (he's not as tall as I thought he'd be though) his hair and facial hair is absolutely wack though. Like seriously, I don't know if he wears it like that all the time but it's fucking weird. Alex on the other hand is not good looking though.





My final word on looks is this, guys should improve their looks as much as they can. Whether that be via working out, dressing well or growing a beard. Besides that, caring about looks or race or height or any of that bullshit is only going to hurt you. I know, because I used to have insecurities about all three of them and it was very hard to break free of them, but it's something that I think every guy needs to conquer at some point in his journey. Interestingly, I've noticed that when your game improves a lot, girls start rationalizing why they're more attracted to you by pinning it on my looks when my looks haven't changed at all. Looks/race/height insecurities are a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you think it will have negative impact on your success, then it will. The only solution is to truly stop giving a fuck.

Becoming an approach monkey and sacrificing a large part of your life to consistently bang 6s and 7s is no more admirable than being a multimillionaire who throws money around to bang 9s and 10s. Some guys with money don't use it wisely to get chicks, so it's easy to pick examples of dudes with money who use it poorly.

As far as money and game is concerned, I think it's insane all the stories I've read about guy spending thousands on RSD and other pickup bootcamps, who end up not getting good at game at all, and end up going without sex for years afterward.

Roosh V forum is so far ahead of rsd on the whole, and especially rsd nation forum, that it's laughable.

Nope, seriously I've only been getting into RSD since I meet two wings my age who are into them and I met these guys less than a month ago. My only other exposure was from torontokid sending me links to them from time to time, but we share a helluvalot of links so... Oh yeah, I have DistantLight's RSD journal bookmarked since he doesn't post on RVF anymore. That's literally it.

As for RSD, it's the same shit as the rest of the Manosphere. The Free Tour videos, all that. Content wise you could go do a search of Heartiste's archives on that particular topic and have him present the exact same material except with his trademark vicious tone/writing style plus links to scientific studies to back it up.

Looks do matter, as does game, bank roll, the way you carry yourself, status, and sex. There are lots of factors as to why women are attracted to men. My suggestion, try and live up to as many as you can. If you aren't good looking, learn to be cool, make money, and dress nice. Looks are just about the only one of those things you can't control. If you don't look good, make up for it in another way.

At the same time, if you're in the top 5% looks wise, getting laid should not be a problem for you. I have a friend from Venezuela. His sister is one of the most beautiful girls I've ever met. If he is her male equivelant, I see why girls go crazy for him. He's 6'7", mellato skin with long curly gold hair and built. It is unbelievable watching this guy go out. I've met lots of good looking guys that pick up easy, but I've never seen anyone come close to the eaze which he pulls. We go to the club, girls approach him. The kid doesn't need to do a thing. Like I said before, "looks don't matter", is probably the number one myth in the PUA industry. Ofcourse RSD guys are going to say that looks don't matter and it's all about game, they're selling $3,000 weekend seminars to a bunch of chodes, who think if they just plop down that much, they'll learn the "secrets of pick" and change their success with women.

Sure I'm sure there are guys who get a lot out of those seminars, but what I noticed is the guys who do the best are the ones who are already decent looking or above average (6-8 range), they just lacked the confidence or some of the social "savoir-faire" needed to meet and hook up with women.

I hate to say this, but human genetics are all over the map, some guys rank in the top 10% in looks, while other dwell at the bottom 10%, guys that women would rate as 8+ in the looks dept, don't really need tight game. Guys who are average or just above average 5-7 definitely need game, and have realistic chances of doing well with women, upon learning and becoming proficient in game.

For the guys 5 and below on the scale, no amount of game is ever really going to land them women 2 points or higher on the scale. Guys' who are 5's that are dating 7's are doing so because they bring something else to the table, they have serious social value, or they are affluent and can provide an attractive lifestyle to a woman.

Examples of social value: being in a band, bartending or djing at successful bar/night club, being a respected artist and owning an art gallery. Examples of lifestyle: wearing pimp tailored suits, rolex watch, rolling in brand new Mercedes Benz, owning a luxurious condo with pimped out furniture, eating and drinking wine at the finest restaurants, flying away to international vacations.

P Dog, I respect you, I'd go as far as to say you're a virtuoso when it comes to this game stuff for a guy your age. However, you're still a young kid, you're very impressionable, it seems like you're being a bit overly influenced by these RSD guys. With a bit more life experience you'll figure out how things really are.

Final point, I'm not saying game doesn't matter, let that be know, I think game is crucial. However, if you're a very good looking guy, game is not necessary, as you will still have an abundance of women willing to spread their legs for you. If you are unattractive, game will be more necessary then ever, but realistically you're not going to be pulling high caliber attractive women, unless you bring another element to the table (game alone won't cut it).

Of course looks matter... I mean just having green eyes vs. brown eyes in South America makes a huge difference as one example.. Seeing girls gasp or even ask to touch when they see a guy with a perfect chest and six pack.. Girls that straight up discriminate based on height requirements...

My impression is that if you are a goodlooking guy, you will never have a shortage of 7s in your life. If you have really good game, you can sleep with 8s regularly. 9s and 10s I think you need fame/money/status or supreme looks and game.

Look, when it comes to online dating, LOOKS ARE EVERYTHING.

Out in public on the other hand can be quite debatable. Granted having height and fit body will set you somewhat aside from the rest, however a shorter that 6'0 guy with a nice fitted suit for example, well done hair, clean shaved can grab just as much attention IMO.

Also i'd hate to throw the race card here, so no offense to anyone, but i think having certain skin tone can be also a factor to consider in play whether some of you like it or not and it is a reality that we all have to face/plow though.

The one thing that game has taught me is that I'm a fairly good looking guy. Seriously, as my game has improved over time I have started to notice random positive feedback on my looks and other non-game attributes.

The way I see it is that improving your game is like improving your interview skills for a job. Stuff like your looks, height, intellect, and income could be considered your resume. You can't say one is more important than the other, they are all important. Just like with a job, a girl can screen you out right before you walk in the door. Other times you can be like Will Smith's character in the movie The Pursuit of Happyness and pull something that you had no business pulling based on your "interview" skills.

Whether looks matter or not doesn't matter if you don't have the kind that you can lean on where girls will go out of their way to approach you. Only a very small percentage of men have it like that. That's just life.

I think online looks are the bait. It's the thing that gets someone to click on your profile to see what you're about. That's where the well-written profile comes in. That's what really gets someone to initiate some kind of contact. Women can get away with nice pics and a weak profile, and still have tons of dudes sending messages. Guys, not so much because I've found women are less likely to initiate online - even passively. The more desperate chicks (fat, ugly) will because they HAVE to, but more attractive women are sitting back and waiting for messages.

Yet I create a profile with an average looking guy, but with a sixpack showing and misspelled profile, he had a ton more success. It's pretty much confirmed that looks are literally everything because girls don't read profiles.

Anybody have any success with the POF "User's who want to meet you" feature?

This is explicitly looks only, basically girls who opt for the feature scroll through dudes and click either "yes" or "no" which is blatantly based 100% on the picture.

I've got 20 in 4 days, but the women are mostly meh with some decent ones. I'm only trying POF because I'm moving.

It's not trolling to point that out. I'm a minority and I get significantly less messages and views because of that. For a lot of black guys, they never their profiles because those black guys are filtered out from searches since most girls are just searching for white guys.

I think both men and women are equally guilty of not reading profiles, or at least not reading them thoroughly. You can tell when someone asks you something about yourself that's clearly stated in the profile. Plenty of times I've had chicks say they were attracted by my smile. I don't search for men, so I can't attest to how solid men's profiles are, but I see plenty of weak profiles posted by women that don't have much more than the basics - relationship status, age, where they live. Instead of putting in some effort, they write "if you want to know more, just ask." Then they'll take forever to reply when you write them.
