I was reading Day Bang where at one point Roosh suggests one should prepare 5-6 different baits to be used in a conversation.

What I don't understand is, doesn't the exact delivery of the bait depend on the context? In that case, how can you prepare a bait in advance?

I have listed down tons of hobbies, projects and places I have visited. For example, I was in Scotland for 2 months once. What should my bait be for this?

I guess it would depend on several things, wouldn't it?

For example, if I am in a coffee shop and I am talking about food, I can say, "They don't have good scones here. I missed the ones I used to have when I was in Scotland."

Or if I am on the streets or in the park and talking about fun things to do in the city, I can say, "Ever since I visited Edinburgh, I miss the constant bagpipe music that runs in the background at this time of the day."

Is there a generic bait that works everywhere?

You just answered your own question and contradicted yourself all in the same post.

Yes, those statements about Scotland are fine.

No, there is no generic bait that works everywhere, your speech should be fluid and coherent and not so goddamn forced or scripted.

Take a shot of single malt before going out and chill.

Bait should be subtle and be brought up in passing. If you're trying to drop big bait out of context you just sound like a social retard.

You have to bring in bait naturally.

You want to be the guy who's able to relate any topic to something in your life. Practice makes perfect. It may seem artificial now but if you keep working on it you can integrate bait into your conversations by training your mind to able to be flexible.

Bait - interesting things you've done or currently do.

So mine would be travelling to holland, italy, france, spain, ireland and turkey. Being at university (sometimes) and being in a band.

Everyone has their own obviously, but if you're low on ideas you need to do more interesting things.
