Kesha was one of the two girls (the other one was Russel Brand's ex- I forgot her name), who was hand-picked by super-producer Max Martin (the guy behind all B. Spears, Backstreat, etc. hits) as a counter project to Lady-Gaga, so I think it's safe to safe that there is probably a lot of money behind her.

It's crazy, I know the guy who plays guitar for her. Hadn't talked to him in a while, and then one day I see this picture of him on Facebook playing in front of a stadium crowd with Kesha.
