I was just waiting for a chance to share this. Some 10 minutes later she's back, obviously pissed, and starts yelling that "the way i'm treating her will come back at me and some day some girl will give you the same you arrogant dick". She's shoving me at this point, my friends are yelling things like "just fuck her already", everybody is watching and i just want to fucking punch her, but i can't since i go there all the time and don't want to get kicked out because of a stupid cow. So i signal to a bouncer, he gets it and he drags her off me.

That's not the end. Five minutes later, i hear a crashing noise behind me, turn around and see the same bouncer fucking guillotine choking her and dragging her out the door. She's flailing around, breaking the decor, everybody is laughing and cheering at this point. Her even fatter friend is yelling something about an embassy and how we can't treat them this way, and an hour later, while we are leaving, she's still in front of the bar, sitting on the tiles and sobbing.

I never saw that type of behavior from an Euro girl. Sure, they freak out, but reserve the behavior for more private environments. Also - not one whiteknight in the room, but rather a mass public shaming fest, from both girls and men.

I'm glad i live here.

I've generally found European backpackers to be cliquish and arrogant. Once you get beyond Western Europe/Mexico/Caribbean, the quality of American tourists goes way up, while the quality of tourists from other countries doesn't.

When it comes to it America, apart from NYC, is a nice place to visit and people are polite to tourists. The rudest travelers are Israelis no disputes and no doubts of you have ever been to south asia you should know this. Americans just have a rep of being bit thick and completely ignorant about their place in the world. Watching Americans in Vietnam get all upset that evidence of their war crimes was preserved in Museums was priceless. I do not know why it is that yanks have such a probelm with the idea of Amercans being legitimate bad guys around much of the world.
Being English you kind of know that loads of nationalities hate your guts on site so you learn to be pragmatic about it.

That hasn't been my experience. Americans have been consistently bad everywhere (and I'm American).

I hear this a lot of places, not just here. Not challenging you, but do you have any more insight into this? Examples of personal experiences, surveys etc. I have never been to Israel, but the couple of Israeli's I've met abroad have generally been very cool. Approachable, friendly and so on. Most have been artists, or on some sort of cultural exchange, rather than tourists or business people, so maybe that's the difference.

My experience definitely isn't very broad, but since I'm likely to visit Israel at some point I'm interested in what people say about them and Israeli culture.

Israelis are pretty macho imo sort of like Persians and other middle easterners. Many that I have met are boistrous when they are out, but it's not the in your face fuck you kind it's the i'm having a great time and i don't care who knows it kind. Not your stereotypical american jews. Show them respect, and they'll show it back to you. Be careful, though if they sense any weakness they won't respect you. I never buy shit from them, though. At least the ones who open up those little boardwalk tshirt shops on the beach because they never list the price so you always feel like you're getting ripped off.

In SE Asia and South America travel scenes the Israels have a very bad reputation for being anti social, cheap, arrogant, rowdy and disrespectful to locals. It's true for the most part, I've witnessed it many times and avoid Israelis at all costs.

Back to American women, whenever I'm in this internet cafe there's a different American bitch on Skype to her boyfriend back home and every single time they're busting his balls about what he's doing, where he's been, what he's been up to, I bet you're cheating on me etc. She's the one who's slutting it round the backpacker scene of SE Asia and she gives her pussy boyfriend who's sitting at home abuse. Unreal.

People diss on Israelis and it is partly true from what I've seen but I also wonder if it's just that people esp Europeans don't like Israel and Jews, partly cause of the Palestinian situation.

I mean Israelis can be really bad travelers but most of them are okay. They just keep to themselves too much, but so do the Japanese or Koreans.

Many Israelis do not keep themselves to themselves and are quite rowdy and confrontational. I was in a hostel in buenos aires and there was an israeli guy in my room, we'd chatted briefly but weren't particularly friendly. I come back in the morning from a night out and find him in my bed with a girl (both fully clothed) . I asked him to get out my bed, he had his own right next to mines anyway and he got really aggressive with me and couldn't understand why I'd be a little bit annoyed about him possibly fucking a girl in a bed I had to sleep in. I was quite calm about the whole thing I just wanted to go to bed and sleep after a heavy night of partying and here's this israeli guy who's in the wrong getting confrontational with me. Met many just like him.

Most people in Europe have nothing against jews and no particular love for palestine. You cannot compare them to the japanese or koreans.

Israelis are rude, arrogant, ignorant and act very aggresively when it large groups. In South Asia they talk to locals like they are worse than shit on their shoe and will argue aggressively over amounts of money that even a £1 a week sweat shop worker would not even bother about. All the locals in South Asia deapise them. I have had Israeli Girls open me in Yiddish then flounce off with exeptionally rude comments when they found out I was not Jewish, I have watched a Swedish guy get set on by a bunch oof them becuase he asked a guy to keep the noise down at 4 am on an overnight bus ride. They are culturally unaware, and travel in big groups of other Israelis as it means they don't have to make any effort to act like civilsed people. I fucking depsire them, for all their talk, they stick with other Israelis so they can get away with completely ignorant behavior, they try to tone it down a bit when on their own but next time you meet one tell them you are MUslim and see what happens.

Some Israeli guys bought one of the quickee marts here in my town. One of them got busted for raping a customer and the other ones ask me how much I want for my car everytime I go in there. They want to go out and look in it. They are huge dickheads and I can't imagine what a group of them like that would be like. I think I'll go fuck with them today after reading this. I'm a huge dickhead too but American style
