Gents,

I'm going out to a French Tuesday party tonight in NYC, which will mostly be frequented by hot French expats in their 20s and 30s. It's located in a club on the UES. All guys have to suit up, girls will be wearing dresses.

I'm a newbie to real Game, and although I have very good rapport skills and don't have a problem escalating, my initial approach-and-attraction game is definitely in its early stages.

I'm going dolo and will be using Roosh's line: "Hey, let me guess, you're from____". My impression from the forum is that European girls should be handled with more intelligence and less sarcasm/negging like US/Canadian girls. I'm thinking plenty of direct eye contact with a very good listening skills. I will also be looking for kino very quickly.

I searched for an actual thread relating to gaming French girls, but didn't really find an outline of how to game them. There will also be other Europeans at the part along with South Americans.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Learn French. I'm serious.
Now my spelling is a little off as I don't speak French well, but I went to Montreal and knowing a little French and saying it properly went a long way.

That's way better than what you quoted

I know a little French, but it comes off with a thick German accent since that was the first foreign language I learned.

Since these girls moved to New York to learn the language, not knowing French is not going to kill you. But saying enchante' after meeting her is a good idea, thanks.

You'll do fine, you're excited to go, you're wearing a suit and you speak German and French man odds are on your side just focus on logistics sometimes it's hard to improvise

Just use the below phrases:

- Je voudrais (vood-ray) ameliore mon francaise which means I would like to improve my french..

- C'est sympa (sampa) .. its cool

- Always use vous when you first meet a girl

- puta! ..which means fuck (as when things dont go your way)..french ppl say it all the time and with your thick accent its bound to make them laugh.

We had a conversation about French girls in another thread in january:

My approach:
"Yes, my assumptions about French women liking me became a self-fulfilling prophesy. IMO, French women are very interesting women with a highly developed personal sense of style. They are proud of this. They always have something interesting and unique on, the opposite of the Abercrombie scene.

So basically, once I saw her (or rather HEARD her) , I'd pick out something interesting she was wearing. Then I'd approach and ask her about it. Because of their mindset there's always a story behind a scarf or a necklace, where it came from, etc, so it gets into geographic conversation, my strong point. It can go personal, to their family, travels, etc. an easy way to get to that great conversation level.

After that angle was done, I'd build off the object into the racial thing by explaining to her that I admire the French style because its so similiar to the African American tradition, blah blah- taking random objects and using them build a unique look, often without money. So now I have a bridge into my scene, and now they're into it. Plus they believe that they're superior to the US because they treated Miles Davis and Charlie Parker better in the 50s. (I love jazz and can exploit that angle too)

Then without fail it gets into racial relations in the US...and France... so I have a degree in diplomacy so now I'm in my sweet spot and they are impressed. I think they're fascinated by african-American culture but I provide a sophisticated way for them to get a taste. This is a LOT of conversation. And believe me, I'm not wearing my beloved Randy Moss Raiders Jersey or cargo pants. I'd often have a tan summer blazer with an actual, real flower on the lapel, just like a 1940 old-school southern baptist minister. They liked that and know they're dealing with a unique case.

So usually after a LOT of talk and wine, I'm in a pretty good spot with them and bounce to the next spot. I escalate slow to limit cultural misunderstanding and mess it all up, but after a while of one on one they realize they're not meeting the likes of me for a while so and they are usually pretty confident women so they'll push it over the finish line. "


I think four things will help you:
1) Ask about their clothes
2) For some reason, most of the french chicks I know have traveled to crazy places; make sure you can have this conversation
3) Do a quick search on French current events to talk about in case you get stuck; stuff like they have an election coming up and also stuff like DSK-Tristane Bannon (lord, even their feminists are hot)
4) Have a nice dressed-French-chick compatible joint to bounce to (careful with the corner tavern)

This will differentiate you in case they're snooty...then run yo' game!

For the op , be funny,quick/mind sharp(we like to play with word,mental play) and be a man . Not alpha/rude but show you have balls/macho .

or you can say pute fait chier that is a classy one but, in all honesty either use french completely or just keep it real simple because it is annoying hearing someone struggle to make a sentence that they obviously learned solely for the event IMO.

@Alfonso: You're right, my bad. It is 'putain', although most French pronounce it as 'putaa..h'!

@chairman: I've noticed that homegrown French girls really warm up to you if you even attempt to speak French. Its best to do it as un-self consciously as possible which keeps the mood light. Since the OP claims to speak some French, it doesn't hurt for him to use it. At the very least, that might differentiate him from the rest of the dudes.

Yes they do warm up to you if you speak french but if you have just memorized some phrases it feels artificial and that you just memorized them to impress. But, if the OP actually does know some from studying or something then by all means he should use it because he can use that as conversation that he took it and thought it was hard or something.
