I had a weird flake yesterday, it was a girl I see a lot that gave me a lot of IOI's some time ago but for some reason I never tried to get her out until a week ago when I found her on the street and proposed right there but she was going to school. I was teasing her by text and we got a very fun conversation and a moment of tension, I told her to meet tomorrow and she told me she couldn't tomorrow, so I told her to come to a place near my house and she said yes, then I gave her instructions since she didn't knew my neighborhood, then we had a conversation like:


Me: text me when you are on the bus stop
Her: no deal, don't be bad and wait me at the bus stop

Me: Oh shit you are closer than I though, I will be out on a couple of minutes.
---Like 3 minutes passed
Her: I'm here.
Me: I'm very close don't move (my house was at just two blocks)

--Like 10 minutes passed (I was fixing some stuff before leaving)
Her: I just took the bus to be back again, my mom just told me she needs me urgent
Me: Really? where are you?
Her: 532523 street right in front of the x store.

To be honest I would have thought she never went if it wasn't by the fact that she mentioned the direction of where she was and given that she mentioned a store of that block, I'm pretty sure she was there. But I saw her today and she was behaving completely disinterested and even rude, I'm thinking as that she got "last minute resistance" right there at the bus stop.

If someone I wanted to hang out with was 2 blocks away (could be anyone, a friend, whatever) and had taken the bus to come see me, I wouldn't be letting 10 minutes pass, especially when it takes about 3 minutes to just walk over and walk them to your place.

You act like she flaked on you, but you basically gave her every reason to turn around and get back on the bus going the other direction.
