I like all of them except the compliment. Not sure that works best in North America. I stopped using compliments after my first year here (tagged as a sucker)

#4's kind of a neg opener, I could see it working with the right follow-up. Direct usually isn't my style but #3 is the kind of direct opener I could see myself using--putting your cards on the table but being cocky-funny at the same time.

Ive been wanting to pull a number 5 likeapproach for a while.

1.Sit next to or walk up to a girl or wait for a girl to sit next to you somewhere.
2.Make some eye contact but don't say anything.
3.Call mom(fake conversation) and tell her the girl of your dreams is sitting next to you..and you wanna know what to do.
